If you don't want to do it yourself Tarty offer a great Helicoil service. It's £5 to get a thread done but I sent my frame to them and they did all four for the price of one =) True you have got to pay for postage etc, costs £10 to get a frame back off them and you'll have to sort postage to them yourself. But it was easier for me as I don't have all my tools at uni with me. Also if you decide to send your frame to them by parcel force wrap it WELL!. They smashed my new Piranha frame around, broke the box and managed to bend the dropouts when I sent mine off.

Can I suggest you use a camera tripod if you have one. Panning and even moving shots are going to be a lot smoother. It's also going to give you stability in places that you'd find it hard to hold the camera for any length of time, up high or near the ground etc. - You can also film yourself this way =)

I'm also using the 2011 levers, on both rim and disk and they are great. No problems whatsoever, they're light and look clean =) Hope they work well for you

Cant find this magazine anywhere =/ Any ideas where to look? I've tried WHSmiths and looked on their website and cannot see it. I want to try one first before I subscribe, also do you know how long the tarty offer lasts? cheers

Have you converted it to single speed? Dumped the cassette, cables, shifters and derailleur etc? I assume u'd lose a resonable amount there for fairly cheap. Not sure if you were just asking about forks but thought I'd mention it =)

Thanks again, I'll look into it, I did have a quick look into one for just bike and it was around £45 for anyone else thats looking for a rough guide; laptop etc is probe a good idea too though.

Thats not a bad idea actually, I didn't bother in the first 2 years but dot fancy getting my bike nicked! What kinda price we talking for that if u don't mind?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has insurance on their bikes and where they would recommend going for it? Hoping to get the Pure off Tarty and security at uni with a house full of 7 lads is pretty much non-existant! cheers =)
