Definitely no need for gears mate, but singlespeed conversion is pretty easy. Idk if youve read up but you can get either a freehub or fixed hub and a freewheel. Fixed hub + freewheel is alot cheaper and not really much worse. Im not really sure as to buying the fase, its going to feel so different to your bike, geometry is totally different. Id recommend trying to find something second hand bette

Apparently the rear hub is crap so have to change that and I'll have to get a single-speed kit cause I don't trust gears!
Recon it's worth the work or better off just buying second hand single speed? I can't see any for sale atm really
