hi just got a pair of these and im trying 2 adjust the pad spacing but the screws on both of them are incredibly tight and without forcing them wont move (i dont wana force them) has anyone else had this issue with them? there is still plenty of thread to go into the level but just cant turn the damn things easily!

just depends what building merchants are near you. places like jewsons and bradford probably wont be much help but near me there is a company called ASTRA, which i think is local though that specialise in nuts and bolt of all sizes. among other things. my local bike shops go there and buy bolts for 5p/ 10p each and then sell them on for £2 or something lol im just cuttign out the middleman. the postage costs more than the bolts replacing online lol

use a wide flat head screwdriver if i can see that pic correctly. if the screw head is slighlty proud of the cap you can try making a slot for a flat head with a hacksaw.

nightmare rounded bolts. ive been drilling out some old stem bolts today! litteraly now i go down the local speacialist merchants and get titanium bolts for everything instead of messing around with mild allen key fittings. 4 example the magura brake mount bolts. they are like £2 each or something. i can get a stronger version for about 10p a bolt lol

na its actually the drive side which has more. there's about 10mm difference at most. the bb was lined up correctly when first installed but i think i may have pulled it through when fitting crank arms. the bb itself is a 24/7 darkangel (3 piece)

thsi mite have a realy simple obvious answer but can i simply knock a bb axle with a hammer to get an even amount of axle either side of the frame. just noticed mine is sticking out slightly more on one side and ive forgotten how 2 set them lol its an isis axel btw

what every happened to dmr v12's i still run mine on my trials but cant se them for sale anywere. they were expensive but the bearings are tops!

stem looks a bit short for my liking, are you tall or short lol nearer 5 foot or 6foot?

haha no the point is tar sticks 2 much in heat and goes slippy in the cold. a nice grind with gd pads works either way!

y would anyone actually buy tar through the forum? the postage alone would be more than the tar! lol just find a local roofer and ask for a lump, they'll let you have free i bet. p.s i used to use tar a lot last week i put some just on the front rim which is not ground. found it far too sticky and have been waiting for it to wear down. yesterday i was riding plymouth with a group of riders and decided stoppying down a slopped would be a gd idea! fine for a couple of meeters then boom!!!!! remnants of tar kick in lol over the bars job nice!

the sun was a killer m8 but the can of red bull i had 15mins before i went home sorted me out lol shame about the riding lol p.s i am the master of stupid bails. (note 2 self - do not stoppie down steep stairs on a hill when you have remains of tar on your front rim lol) i should have front flipped! lol

got a limey myself. what angle is your stem? when i built mine i went for i think the same length trials tech stem but at a slightly steeper angle with flat bars. ive been thinking of changing to risers but wondered about the stem aswell.

i might pop down aswell today. bit hot though aint it? i was out last night and i was sweating buckets! took my helmet off and it was like having a shower lol

so this morning i thought...... you know what im guna grind my rear wheel, surprisingly that all went well! but then i went to put the bike back 2getha. 1st off has any one else every managed to snap of one of the prongs on the magura cylinder that keeps the brake pads square? i noticed that i had snapped one clean off! luckily the pad still holds true. 2nd i pick up my wheel after looking at the break and my hope pro 2 fell apart! lol luckily i had left the quick release skewer in or everything would have scatered onto the workshop floor lol Thankfully i was able to re grease the hub walst it was open and put it back 2getha no probs. its just been one of them days though! filming 2nite lets hope for the best! lol

+ its not good for the economy if every one can do things themselves! lol

u see thsi is why they should tech technology (properly!)at schools!!! lol just ask ur old man or an adult you know to do it that has experience using the grinder. just explain to them what needs to be done.

if sumones never ever used a grinder before its probly best to get sumone else to do it or they might end up with a huge divet in there rim lol

gripier pedals are better for not slipping off them but usually have larger spikes when you do so its catch 22 lol

We should all pop round buckingham palace next time a london rides on! I bet the Queen and Duke would love it! lol + yeah i said he would loose out to the annoying kid. always the way with these shows.like sumone said there is no money in it if its not singin / dancing. Its like the freaky rocky horror show looking thing thats later in the week, its actually really good some of the circus stuff they do but they will loose out to a singer who cries alot. The final will be a medly of singers and dancers, oh and dont forget the two old bell ringers!!!

I liked the dirt jumping at the end was that a 360 double tail whip! epic! only seem that done before on a bmx!
