  1. I think my issue is I get bored very easily and make too many bike projects which currently i've built up 3 other bikes in the past 2 years a Ti Cyclocross, full sus and old school mtb.... Safe to say I enjoy building things from scratch but of course never the cheapest thing to do. I think what i may do is just sell my bike and start from scratch with either an Echo 20" or 26" and set aside the street thought as i'm not 100% sure if i'd get on with it
  2. I've reached a point where i'm not really sure what to do with my trials bike. 4 years ago I build up a Onza Limey 3 which was a pretty good TGS bike which i felt most comfortable with which then i started working and things went down hill from there. I could finally afford decent parts and started changing my bike quite drastically. I ended up getting an Echo frame and changing my whole stem geo and pretty much everything which it did work but I then lost confidence in power moves and became a little more technical. After a while I started building a Breath Yes 20" which actually was quite a fun bike to ride and found myself doing more and later neglecting my 26". I then sold my 20" like an idiot and kept my 26" because Thats the bike I put the most time and money into. Time went on again and i got a ZOO! to try and recreate the Limey and again then messed up my geometry thinking I had it all sussed out and then the crewkerz stem and clean carbon bars came about and thought i'd get on that hype and that has now really thrown me off thinking if its good enough from top riders maybe i'll get use to it. Basically what i'm saying is I'm thinking of selling my trials bike and starting fresh which i'm not sure it's a good idea or not and didn't know whether to look at a 26" street trials for maybe slight more variety in riding. Last time i rode street was back when i started trials which i had a Onza Zoot which didn't go too well but was a first introduction to trials. Video to show riding on 26 and 20
  3. been ages since i last went on a group ride D:, great riding and looks lots of fun. Kinda swaying me towards a street bike now though...
  4. Good riding! but personally think it could do with some music or something. Raw footage is okay for a 5 minute video but as there's a lot here it kinda puts you off a little (No offence) either that or it could have worked better as parts rather than a full video. Other than that some pretty decent riding!
  5. Slight update on the bike. Recently gone back to front freewheel, Carbon bars and got on the Crewkerz stem hype which actually seems to be working out for me
  6. Single speed commuter, mountain bike and trials bike. Built out of spare bits and new but rides like a dream even with a heavy ratio it's still exceptionally fun riding trials on it
  7. I've just come off v brakes thinking hydraulics would be easier but i always seem to get issues when i go back to hydraulic so far i've not had any faults... I adjusted my levers so lowered them as they were quite high and moved the blades in but still no luck. I may order some grips and see how that goes but if not i still have my xt rim brakes as a back up
  8. Couldn't of had a better day off work
  9. I go climbing every weekend so use my arms a lot :L i'll move my blades in a bit and see how that goes first then order some grips if its no good
  10. hmm grips could make sense as I went from Trialtech foams to hope lock ons. I'll try the Trialtechs again and see what happens. Cheers

    Arm Pump

I was just wondering if there are other riders who also suffer from arm pump or anyone who's found a solution to it. I started getting quite bad strains in my forearms a couple of years ago after cutting my arm open. Once i recovered from that i wasn't too bad be then after being asked to do a show my forearms started to lock up after a few sections. 2/3 years on i'm still getting it quite bad and im not sure if its due to being out of practice on the bike or set up. I've currently got a 150x30mm stem and Clean Carbon bars (I had trialtech highrise previously) but i am quite tall and feel relatively comfortable with my current set up and this is probably the most stable i've felt on my bike but just need to know if theres a solution
  12. cant seem to embed it https://www.instagram.com/p/BRswXfLjolY/
  13. Very nice! I use to have a similar brake set up on my echo, definitely one of the best feeling V brake levers.
  14. Cheers!. Yeah it's a Zoo! I thought I'd give a lower bb ago again which so far I'm preferring it. Just gotta get riding more this year as I've not used any holiday at work yet D:...
  15. Few clips from last year. Nothing entirely special as I didn't do too much riding due to working a whole lot but hopefully planning to get riding more this year since recently buying a new frame
  16. Nothing entirely special just a to front i was quite please with. Just regaining my strength back after being ill and first actual ride on my new frame
  17. Video didn't embed properly. Nice riding especially if you havent been riding in over 4 years
  18. Personally i prefer it due to me being very tall. I use to run a similar set up a few years ago which back then i think my riding was at its best but then I changed to a higher bb and it was nice but i just didn't really get on with it.
  19. Haha cheers :L, quite odd to get use to at the moment because i'm so use to having a much higher bottom bracket but by what I can do it rides like a beaut
  20. Recently decided on a change from the echo so i thought id give the zoo! ago as i kind of prefer the lower bb. Really happy with this but i have hardly any tyre clearance... guess its time to cut some nobbles. Then... ... Now
  21. Wait a minute I know where that is. Never thought anyone rides Weymouth other than me o_O nice riding though haven't ridden that bit in a while
  22. Finally back to dual hydraulics but it's still annoying after all this time my front Tensile Tocco still feels the better brake even after getting a new Racing Line...

  23. Magura: 2005 HS33. Cracked on back pannels. HS11 2011. Piston in lever kept seizing. HS33 2014. Brake lever snapped whilst doing a side hop Racingline: When they first released. Leaked. Newer Complete brake. Fluid gushed out the lever after a few to fronts. I thing the only hydraulic brake that has been rather successful was my tensile tocco which i still have i'm just skeptical with what to try as a rear brake I've never had to do anything with my V brakes but they just seemed to work but they do become effort to use especially when doing some long lines as my fingers/forearm starts to strain
