Awesome thanks mate, you definatley ride bigger then me but i reckon iim as smooth as you so, lets hope all goes well. Are you running the monty carbon effect stem?
-
Yeah I was prettty happy with price so couldn't resist. Yeah that would be sick if you can upload some videos of your riding mate. What frame did you have? And its decided. Bashring on the cranks!
-
Well i got the Aurem frame for $150 aus dollars so thats not alot of £££ If it brakes, its just another frame to hang on the wall!
-
Im getting an aurem 3 frame. I tend to only ride things i know i can do, apart from the odd experiment. (im no pussy rider though) haha
-
It depends how light the rest of your bike is? Dont want it to fly of anywhere
-
I dont know the actual difference, but the 'road' is a specific build commenly used on commuter bikes. Im guessing they just have a slightly lighter build, I wouldn't recommend buying the 'road' version for trials

Sorry making a few topics recentley but I have questions that need answering. So you may have heard I have bought a Rockman Aurem frame, I have been doing as much research as I can on specifically the Aurem 3 frame, and am constantly hearing mixed opinions about the frame. So it would be really nice to hear about your Rockman experiences, If you have owned an Aurem 3 frame how long have you had? How long did it last? Why dont you use it anymore? And overall what did you think of it? Also bashguard or bashring? Would also be really good to here about every other Rockman frame experiences? Thanks for the comments

this makes me tempted to run bashplate!
-
Hey guys, so i'm currently building up a rockman aurem 3, and will be running a bashring. But I can't decide whether I should run it inbetween the frame and BB, or be normal and just chuck it in behind the ffw? Any opinions, and if you reckon I should be running a bashplate on this frame, tell me! Thanks for any replies
-
No offence, but i would hire someone to kill you if you out that beast of a bashplate on her!
-
no bash guard or ring...? any plans to add one to the build? But looks tidy mate, nitro the headset for sure!

I was gunna ask what you thought of them mate. I know you didn't use them for all that long... but you reckon there okay. (there so cheap so a good buy i guess) I've been thinking of buying the deores and doing some changing around, ending up with the deores on my xc race bike and a set of Hayes Stroker trail brakes on the Rockman!! Think this is what im gunna do. So i'll let you know how it all goes And expect a build thread of this bike soon!
-
Does anyone also have any views on the Echo tr disc brakes? Thanks for the BB7 advice, they may still be an option
-
This bike is an amazing ride, and frame is like new, great owner, really decent guy and smooth rider, shame he's selling really! But in my opinion, the bike is a decent buy and loook at them brakes!!! Super cool, some of the best raceline levers i've seen around
-
Just found that topic. Problem solved! those levers will not be touching the new build hahahaha, the video on there is shocking, they flex loads, and on a trials bike Thanks for that. Any views on the old style Hope Mono Minis??

Hi guys, I am upgrading to a Rockman Aurem 3 and therefore my new build will be dual disc. My question to you is, does anyone have any info from experience or just thoughts on running dual BB7's or BB5's. I would plan to run these calipers with a really nice CNCed lever, i believe they are called Aest, the levers on there own weigh only 27g. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/aest-cnc-aluminum-bike-brake-levers-blue-left-right-108200 So if anyone knows if the Avid BB's would have a decent hold on them it would be good to know. If not throw some brake options at me. I know hope is obviously the best option, and if that is all you can think of then what type of Hopes? Thanks H

Can I Trust This Website (Www.rideitall.com)
howvard replied to ClarkeHutchison's topic in Trials Chat
Agreed with Filo, real decent guy and great service, again though i am in australia so postage isn't a real problem -
I moved from england about 11months ago, and am living in Adelaide, have some really good 'rock' (unfortunatley for you) sections. But im always seening nice street spots that ca be ridden. The sport its self is just picking up, but its a great country for riding, and real nice in general.

His point is "you posted this crap last week"
-
no worries mate, bike is looking sweet have a good time at radfest
-
check if the ends of your cranks hit your magura slaves...
-
lean further forward, so when you flick the front out, you can finish on the rear wheel
-
Well i personally think that u need to atleast square out the holes in the new rear rim to keep the weight down
-
all the website parts justed pissed me off
