Im really close to one, the lines around my area are really good for some reason. They were some of the first ones put in for broadband in my area :D Or i might jus be randomly regurgetating rubbish i picked up from my dad :D
-
But dont you have to have some sort of service from Telewest already or something? I've just got a normal BT line at the moment then it's networked inside my house. It can take upto 10 mb or something, the line in my house. Hmm..

I have a shimano, Square Taper 127.5 axel length and it's perfect.

Its not that uncommon. My mate bought a koxx levelboss exactly like that, which was re-welded and it lasted him a good 6 months after being re-welded up until it totally ripped off or showed signs or more cracking. He had a huge gusset welded over the crack. I've got my mates msn who had the re-welded koxx if you're interested in talking to him. He knows loads about it and bikes generally so it might be a good idea if you're thinking about it.

I'm looking into upgrading my broadband as my current 512k seems abit slow and i'd love the luxury to be able to download DVD's quicker! I'm currently on the 576 (:ermm:ish) bt deal that was bought before all this recent 'allowance' and 'usage limits' came into play. I'm looking about changing to a 1 mb or 2mb connection. But dont really like the idea of a 2mb with blueyonder / Ntl as they cant cover us i dont think, and we'd be a new customer, too much hassle really. I'm not really bothered about if they say 'only one computer per household can be connected at once' cos thats bull to me lol. I've got a netgear router and wireless gateway and then sub Ip addy's so thats all good. :D Do any of you have the 1mb Bt broadband package? It's £29.99 a month and if you order online at the moment, comes with free Xbox live kit. It can cover us but has usage limits. :D Downloads per month are 30gb. Which can be illustrated here (far right column) I download a fair few biking vids and music regularly and its left on the net (being surfed by atleast one computer from about 5 pm til about 9 every day and much more at weekends. Cheers for all your help if you can give me any :D Edit: Bt's packages can be founded for a lazy link: here Nick

:ermm:  I'm not planning on using a TV as a moniter. I'm planning on using a TV as a TV and a for a playstation. Or a moniter for a TV and a playstation screen. It's nothing to do with computers. I dont have a PC, i've got macs, and my new G5 iMac's perfectly happy with its built-in 20" screen :-. I'm wanting a Screen of some sort, flat screen preforably which is either a Computer moniter with a TV card (if it's cheaper that way) or just a normal TV but cheap and flat screen. Was thinking about a tv like these: Currys 28" Flat screen, but £343! 'Techwood 28 pureflat widescreen' - £219 Empire Direct (Empire Electrical) a Jvc 19:9, 28" (i think) widescreen tv Tv's at Empire... :(
-
Yeh that sounds cool. Depends weather I can get a cheap flat screen TV though  Might go to my asian friend at Empire Electrical who will beat just about ever price, including on-line ones and ask them about some TV's. What Tv is yours? What size etc? Cheers - Anyone got any reccomendations for really good value, not bad size + defo flat screen'd Tv's?
-
I was wondering weather it would be possible to buy an quite nice 15 - 19" or so TFT flat computer screen, then wack a TV card into it, and use it as a TV and for a Playstation two. Would save lots of money buying one all in one at the same size. Was thinking about getting the Screen and maybe card off Ebuyer since they seem very popular amongst the Flat Screen Windows people these days'. Wouldn't mind your suggestions of if any of you have done it before. Thanks loads :ermm: Nick Carter  Or if any of you know of any good deals on normal depth TV's but have flat screens :(

Ok, so i've downloaded it, and signed up, and got onto it but it wont let me ring my house phone. what do you have to do? Can you ring mobiles or what? Or ring your mates' home phones or have they got to sign up for Skype too and be online?

Im swaying towards the xbox a fair bit now i've looked into the Xbox Live too. £40 and you're set up. Might get an Xbox off Ebay then get Halo and N4S underground 2 and another game in abit. Not really sure yet but most probably the Xbox even though I think Microsoft are incompetant (Y) Online gaming looks really good and the '10 reasons to buy an Xbox' on their website is really well done and I've got to agree with just about every one of them. Dunno how far i'll get with £150 though.... 2nd hand stuff obv....
