I reckon making a postman work for their money is a good idea (Y) (Y) They can work out who you are and what your address is, just from your house number/name and postcode. When i'm filling in contact forms at Halfords, I can press 'F2' and then put in their Post code, giving me their street address. And it's got from the Royal Mail. So i'm guessing so. Don't know weather it'll work in real life however. I hope that the Postman doesn't sus out our poptart smuggle and eat them. Poor poptarts (Y)

I'm exporting a high quality one, just for you. Link to the high quality, 160 Kb/sec video can be found on the page, or here for lazy people. It's in 640 * 480, 30FPS, with Key frames every 30 frames. Nick.

Well i'm going to be different. And suggest a V!Z stem! And this is no force by Dan or anyone! (Y) I've got a Viz stem on the front of my Python. a 5mm stacker under it, and Zoo bars. It rides lovely, and everyone agrees. They're lovely for sidehops, but nice enough to get some leaverage for power moves. Have a look into them. Mine's never failed my yet. Nick

Hey Simon. Cheers for the comment and advice. Yeah, definatly can suggest stuff! Higher quality, Yeah. I'm going to have a chat with you on MSN about that! I'm slightly confused with Keyframes, Frame rate, compression, etc etc. So i'll catch you on there in a sec. Also due to the 1hour battery life on my Camcorder, It meant that I put together a preview of whatever we had, and some of the clips were front / back on. Not being at the best of angles! Also I was experimenting with the Lens some what. I'll definatly take them down for next saturday's video session! Thanks for comments so far. Ps, Second to last clip. Rail gap with Rick? Look at the rail, The fatty nearly snaps it!

Yes. Higher Quality, Smaller space. nick

I'm inspired by a challenge! Ps, video is in this topic (Y)

Yeah I know i'm posting a video preview at 11.30 ish at night. But hey. Hopefully all your 'wow that's rubbish' posts will bump it up! I got my new 0.3x Wide angle Lens for my camera. And I thought that i've done a little editing, and i'd put a little preview out for all you video addicts to thrive on. Can be found through the website http://www.wytrials.co.uk Please go to Media > Videos, then Follow on screen prompts >_< No Lazy Links please. And all comments welcome. Nick @ Wytrials.co.uk Ps, Riders are: Carl Hopps - 2004 Python (ginger hair) Rick Speight - 2004 Pitbull Nick Carter (me) - 2005 Python (dark blue top) Craig Scott - Echo Team 2005 I think that's everyone who was there in the video PREVIEW. More to come soon :turned:

Meh you've got me already >_<

Hey Alex. Thanks for your post. Proved very helpful >_< I got the 0.3x wide angle lens from Jessops this morning for £20. Since mine's 17mm and it's 17mm-27mm I worked out that it'll have less effect since it's looking more through the middle. And it's worked a treat. Awesome day's riding. All I need now is a longer battery! 1hour is crap! The clip bit is really secure and It looks cool. Easy to get on and off, and comes in it's own case :turned: Thanks for all your inputs anyway! (N) Nick (Y)

Woo go me. *sarcasm*

My sister goes to York and she's really enjoying it! She's studying something starting with "P", Philosophy maybe?, and Chinese as a secondary subject thing. Not 100% sure 'cos I don't really get that interested in it, but hey! I'm definatly going to Uni. I'm picking somewhere close-ish to home, but far enough to be able to live there and have my own space. I'm really thinking about Leeds, because it's only an hour Bus (which goes past my house) from Halifax. And half an hour train! It's awesome to ride and loads of my mates go there really regularly. Carl, one of my mates from Guiseley is thinking about going there, which will be cool. I'm one of those people who's scared about making friends etc so i'm fairly scared when I do go, but life at my school at the moment is very 'average'. Sorry this isn't a very helpful post, but it got me thinking :) Hope you find deciding ok, Nick :)

I'm getting into a bit of a spelling nazi :"> I'm not even good at English in the slightest! That's what confuses me. But hey. B'ryt. I just think that if you write something out properly, it'll be read properly, and you'll be taken seriously. To be quite honest, If someone starts off a post with some random shitty "txt talk" then I won't read on. Or i'll pick out where they've gone adrift, and suggest maybe looking words up in Google. I've looked up one word for this (adrift) and It was to check that it wasn't 'a drift' or what it wasn't slang or such. I regularly look up words, just because you look like even more of a 'tard if you can't spell, when you're trying to correct someone's spelling! Anyways. Simon, I agree! Nick

Asif. As Adam (bigman) knows, i got a speedy 234kb/sec out of that one :) Awesome video. Very smooth! No music does do him justice! He's so silent it's unbelievable! Thanks adam :) Nick

Sorry to blag my way into a little off topic post but: Is it possible to have 2 CSS styles in one page? I'm doing links and want some links to go from 414140 to white, and some to go from 414140 to FF1FF7, with " text-decoration: line-through; " (stiked through) I'm not really sure how to make these work. I thought that I could make a style1.css and a style2.css, and highlight then select the style sheet I wanted it to relate to. That didn't work. So i'm guessing it'll all be in one sheet.. and need to both be in the sheet but if i just plonk them in then they'll overlap and f**k up. And ideas? Thanks. Nick

That looks reallly nice! I love the frame now i've had a closer look 'nd the colour really suits it. It looks gorgeous! Good job :) You should be very happy :) :)

Well since my camera isn't 3CCD i'm guessing that i'm not getting the same quality of picture as on the canberra trials vid (picture above)..so i've been educated on :) I'm wanting something that doesn't give much of the black ring around the outside. And doesn't give you a headache when watching. Something subtle but effective. I'm thinking of the 0.5 Wide lens now everyone's discussed it a little. Which I'd get the Raynox Clip-On one from Jessops (in leeds if they stock them). As for the pictures above done by the Very king Mr Janson.. I'd like a compromise between the 0.3x Semi fisheye, and the 0.6x wide angle sony lens. A little more from the sony, a little less from the fisheye. I'm hoping a 0.5, or 0.43 if I can get one.. Will get this :) What d'you think. Thanks :):) Nick :)
-
You don't have a clip or photo of your 0.7x do you mike? I'll catch you on msn now.. I'm looking at the 0.5 since it'll be more versitile i think. My threads on the camera are 27mm, so will a 27-37mm be ok? I know it's stupid but It might be really too tight etc. I was looking at that one Tart linked to from Jessops. Means I could pick it up tomorrow from Leeds actually. Thanks :) Nick
-
I was going to put this in Chit-Chat but it's strongly related to vid's so I thought it'd be best in either. I've got a Panasonic NVGS 40 (<-link) and it can take lens additions etc as it's got threads on the inside of the silver lens outer bit! I want something that will look cool, but that can be used for loads of things, and that won't make your head hurt! something like in Canberra trials video 13: I don't want to be shelling out absolutly tons of money. I'm not sure how much they cost but £40 ish would be in my opinion an OK price, but little to my knowledge they might be £90RRP. Thanks for all your advice in advance. Nick

I'd get your own topic :- Also i'd get your exact question too, 'cos that one isn't very clear.

I found it gave my 160mm Avid Cable Disk more modulation. Also it gave it more eventual power I think. Not sure how! They're pre-brushed too so they work a treat. I've got the Aztec one from Wiggle.co.uk Nick

Haha. I might. I feel really mean to them though! I could just ask my mate to cover for me? Lol. I'll see how it goes. And the weather 'n' stuff! I'll try though If it's sweet weather (Y) Tim you can give me a lift from Leeds if Rick's working. Since he's just got a job @ halfords on Sundays too! Nick
