Dai the Socket

Well I've got a medium grind on my Ronnie rim. I've got them set up as best I can (my dropouts are f**ked so it's a little hard) and I can't see any wearing. Or couldn't last time I looked. I'll go look again now *runs to look* All I can see is one pad adjusting to the rim angle, so it's worn like 0.5mm ish. I'll get you pictures in a tic :) These pads are really good. I haven't used any tar on them, merely because I haven't needed to. I put some on Yesterday, as I had re-aligned my wheel, and wanted the pads to work ASAP, without having to re-adjust to my rim. And they did. Their squeek is really good. And I'm loving the pads. I was talkin to Wayne and we've both decided they're the best we've both used so far. I'll get pics in a minute anyway. Nick

To over fill it I think you can just get a mate to pull one of the cylinders out on the brake pad bit, and then it'll give you a bit more room to fill it full of blood or water or whatever. My pads are ok on my Ronnie, in my 05 Python. It's not particuarly streight though. But my frame's f**ked around the dropouts, so I'm not the best example

It's 'Three Simple Words' by Finch. Um yeah. I haven't really got used to the lens yet, that's my excuse anyways. Also Tomm and Waddy did some filming. I wasn't really planning on making a video out of the day so I didn't think about making it particularly awesome or concentrating much. Merely wacked out the camera when I got bored of riding and my hands were hurting! Those are literally all the clips I got from the day, the decent ones anyway (so excluding f**kups) and I didn't want to cut the song short, so I wacked them in. Thought it was a good idea :) And yeah. Weird angles I know. I was experimenting I guess. I'm tryin to use the Wide Angle lens to it's full potential, and having them at better/different angles makes it kinda more interesting, in my opinion anyways. Stuff can look bigger / better / wider etc at different angles. Thanks for the constructive criticism anyway. Nick

I've decided i'm going to just wack all the footage I've got into one video, then host it, somehow! I've got a bit of everone I think, but i'm not sure. I mainley focused on WYtrials Team riders, as we're releasing a big video soon. I'll try my best. Got a couple of good clips of Neil too. And Tomm m m mm riding my bike, as his brake popped. :huh:

Well I had fun anyway! I'm editing the footage now.... (i'm the dude on the Python, riding a bit 'poo' to say the least..) Cept I did a nice sidehop at the playhouse! :huh: 38/39 inch ish. (not TF measurments - about 58" with them) Edit:Only for a couple of pictures to add I was videoing mainly, so lack of pictures is due to that..

I agree. Looks pants. I'd have one that means something to me, and when people say 'oh thats cool, what does it mean? Or why did you get it?' you can explain to them it's about 'so and so' blah blah.. And not 'oh, erm, nothing, i picked it out 'cos it looked cool.

Haha. How did they go? I did English Lit and P.E. today. I'm going higher for both and to be quite honest they were both fine. English wasn't as bad as I expected, as I'm pretty poor at english. Got a C in my mock. I did : Romeo and Juliet, Pre-1914 War poems, and the novel "Lord of the Flies". I was expecting to do badly and get merely something I didn't know, as I didn't read the book Lord of the Flies, but It wasn't too bad. I picked the one about Darkness in Mankind and how the book reflected it. 'Twas oki ;) I compared the Poem 'War' to 'Charge of the Light Bridge' due to it's futility, compared to a mother's loss of a child during war. And then Romeo and Juliet I just wrote about how in Act 2 Scene 2, the love between them etc. Then PE was astonishingly easy. I'm hoping to reach my predicted grade, an A. :-

I've got an Aztec one on my Avid 160mm front disk. It's awesome and looks pimp :S I'm happy. Lol. It modulates the brake much better, weighs less, and doesn't glaze over as easily i've noticed. (Y)

Erm. Today I've done 4 hours on P.E. And about Half an hour finding / reading my English Lit notes, as they're on Wednesday. I've been doing 2-3 Hours a day for the last week or so. Tomorrow I'm going into School to spend an hour on my ICT coursework, then spend half of the remaining time on English. I had an "English Day" last Friday. Which was like 8 * 35minutes of English. Which was 'fun' :) Anywho. I should be ok with P.E., and English Lit i'm finding out stuff I don't know 100% tomorrow but I should be 'reet with that. Tech on Wednesday too. I've got Wednesday night for that :)
