  1. Erm, so you've got to be 16? Where is it? Exactly? Woudl like more information :P I'd quite like to rag my mum's mini about on it :)
  2. Lol Good decision. You won't be unimpressed :P No Problemo for the help.
  3. Haha.... :deej: Well... The warranty on the new iPods is one year :) Previous problemos on Gen 3's, are that the batterys f**k up (from their standard 8 hours life) and then you can't replace the battery. However! The new iPods, and iPod photos (not sure about mini's) and the batteries in these have a standard 15 hour battery life, and are fully replaceable for something like £40. Their general battery cycles last much much longer, as they were concentrated on after earlier 3rdGen problems. As Joe said above, he had problems with the same thing my maates had. It shoes it was a definate design fault, and that they weren't tested correctly. It's a hassle. And to be honest, personally i'd rather have an iPod of some sort which will last ages, than have a Zen which you have to send back every 2 months or so, and then once the warrenty runs out. You're f**ked! Totally up to you. Depends on your cash flow but it's worth it spending that little bit more dosh on the Photo one for £195. In my opinion anyway. It pisses all over the normal black and white displays, and you always get people going 'wooooww colour'. But i hang around with some 'simple' people lets say :deej: Nick :P
  4. Same with me. It's hiding in my house somewhere. And it's filled in. Just need to send it off! :)
  5. I'm there with the Wytrials Lot <_<
  6. Hey Rob. No problem! Erm. The whole point with the 'Education Shop' is that if you're in full time education, or even part time to an extent, they'll knock the price down to £195 for a 30gb or something like £245 for a 60gb. Those are the posted and packaged prices. There's no other costs! :- Erm. I'm not tryin to put you off buying Joe's as that would be a bit harsh, and I know he wants to sell it big time.. But it's an honest opinion with what's happened to my friends. I also talked to one of them, and he told me his brother's hs done the exact same thing that f**ked on both my mate's ones. So it seems like quite a bad design fault to me! You might want to try and get a loan :) or beg parents? Or do overtime? Hehe. It shouldn't take you that long to scrounge together another £100 ish :P:P I'm not saying that you shouldn't get the Zen. Merely bringing it to your attention what else there is to offer, for the same kind of money, but a tad more reliable, and posher :P ...And it's white :P The link to the whole range of Education stuff can be found at http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/uk_Inst, and then the direct page link to the iPod Photo's can be found here. I've just looked on the apple site, and it adds VAT on at the end. Which is a tad confusing, as my mate bought one of them for £195 all in from the site. I'll get in touch with him.... :) Nick
  7. Erm. I wouldn't get one of those little Zen things. :P" 2 of my mates who have them, they've both broke with the same thing. When they're in your pocket, the headphone socket bit is kinda counter sunk through the plastic, and it can move about when knocked. It means the connection in the headphone bit f**ks up, and only works at certain positions. Which is a bit crap isn't it. Erm. They've both sent them back and got new ones. But one of my friends, his has already done the same thing again! So yet again, He's waiting 3 weeks for them to send a courier to pick it up. :-" <_< The other just sold his replacement and bought an iPod photo 30gb, from Apple.com/uk for £195 (with education discount - you can get it if you click on the 'education store' on the right of the homepage). Which just means you're in full time education, and may need to prove it. Or give any VAT number of a registered company, like a home business who a (family) friend may have. The new iPod Photos are really good. I've got one, from eBay, brand new for £209 posted with insurance, and the 2 year extended warrenty thing. They're ace, small, light, colour and hve 30gb of memory. They piss all over the 2 colour'd Zen's! And the older iPods. Battery life is pretty impressive too, being 15 hours on a full charge. And only taking 5 hours to fully charge, or 3 hours to 'quick-charge' up to 80%. Get onto http://www.apple.com/uk then go to the 'education store' and have a browse. You won't be disappointed :P. Also apple's support is second-to-none, so you know if you've got any problemo's, they'll sort you out. My battery went down to under 50% on my 3rd generation, and the next day a 'UPS' courier came over, picked it up, and within 3 days of them testing it, I had a brand new, BOXED and absolutly BRAND NEW, not refurbished, iPod. Sorry for the essay. I'd just go for an iPod over a Zen. As they break shit loads! :P Also iPod mini's are 1/5 of the storage size, crappy colours, black and white, and only ~£70 cheaper than iPod photo's. :) Hope I helped :) Nick
  8. Yeah. I've got some on my desk at the moment. They're really good speakers, but the thing I was mislead about was that I thought they didn't need a 240V supply. Therefore, since they do, they can only be used inside. Which is a tad annoying, as I bought them for my iPod and when i was playing football with mates. And we could listen to some Tuneezz :P So Yeah. For desktop speakers, They're awesome, but for portable, outside speakers, they're rubbish. As they need a plug! :) Nick <_< edit: it says on the back, that it needs '9V Alternating Current' but the plug it goes into, has a normal house plug thing on. Meh.
  9. I've seen it and it's ace! Its Really sweet. When he chops her finger off with wire cutters on the sly  I'd defo see it again. I go to the cinemas quite a lot and it's one of the best i've seen in AGES. :-
  10. Very Very sweet mate (Y) Mine rides nice, yours will too, and look more pimp since it's blue :):deej:
  11. Don't you mean "You're a liar.", rather than "Your a liar". As you're meaning " You are a liar "? I meant to put " Hadn't ", but as i'm revising, video editing, on MSN and tired, while typing quickly on Trials-Forum, I made a word error. I don't believe that can be classed as 'lying'. Also I've spotted atleast three grammatical or spelling errors. So you can't say f**k all.
  12. No. But firstly, I can't set up brakes very quickly or well. As my old one was set up perfect, then left. The Spacer is f**ked and mangled inside the mounts, and around the maggie. Also my wheel keeps moving, left, right, but mainly left. And it won't set up straight. It's not particularly well set up, as It's in my garage at the moment, and i'm going to be fitting my new booster soonish. So i'll have another go then. It seems i've got to be 'sorry' as my brake setting up ability's aren't up to the phenominal ones you seen to have obtained. Meh.
  13. No problem. I kinda explained my situation earlier. That's with my rim moving LOADS during the ride, They were set up perfect, with a 2p coin between the rim, but the wheel moved left, so I had to bodge the brake quickly, so I could keep on riding. Sorry If i didn't spend 2 hours setting up my brake when I was out riding (Y) I'm not willing to do that. The hosing and spacer on the maggie won't let me turn it any further towards it's horizontal. So that's the best It can be, at the minute. Christ.
  14. I don't mind at all. Since the Alu is U6, it's softer than other metals, and therefore, flexes, and doesn't crack/snap as easy. That's why they're good frames to ride. The dropouts have got indentations from my old wheel being tightened up, and it was slightly differently true'd (spelling (Y)) than my current one which is 100% straight. Therefore, these indentations make the new wheel slip into them, and make it not align properly. My snailcams just move, however tight the bolts are on my wheel. And Tensioner's won't fit, due to the CNC'd dropout bits. So, my wheel's always at an angle, unless I file it down to make the indentations go away, which will void warrenty. Or get a 1/2 price replacement or whatever through Selectbikes or whatever. Let's hope I can. Nick
