Well I got them a while ago now and they've worn a little. It is slightly disappointing but the compound he's got is really good. If he can get additives into the mould which reduce pad wear rate, but keep the compound, then he's DEFO onto a winner. It's a really good brake and I trust it a load  But I'm thinking it'll only last another month or so. Nick

Haha. Just go up to her and say: Excuse me love, I was wondering if I could have your number, because I've compared your ass to your tits and that's all good, so I'm just checking that your personality's ace too. Can't go giving my heart away to people with f**ked up personalities now can I? Then Grin :(:D Haha.... Yeah, just start chatting. B'ryt!

Best Chain Tugs To Replace Broken 2005 Tpro Models
Dai the Socket replied to CBProductions's topic in Trials Chat
Those snail cams are really really hard to get hold of. The ones with notches! I'm wanting some because I'm having problems with keeping my rear wheel tension on the 05 Python. Apparently it's designed for Zoo! Tensioners only, but I don't know of any Zoo! Tensioners :( Nick  -
The 'wear line' being introduced by which manufacturer or whatever. I don't really get that bit (Y) I haven't been able to pick up any specific makes associated with "Kris Holm" so what rim has he had problems with. Does this mean that the 'old style' Viz rim had problems, due to it being nothing like the Koxx or Onza Hog rim? Please relate specifically to the question  Thanks a lot
-
I hadn't heard that before. I've got a Ronnie and it's got 6 dents in and is uber thing. The Koxx and Hog rims are identical, therefore unless the Ronnie is better than the Koxx, your initical perceptions of the rims must of been wrong (Y)
-
Apparently: * There has been loads of 'f**ked up V!Z rims (old style) * The new Onza hog rim and the old V!Z rims are identical. Therefore: * Apparently the hog rim is 'shit' and a 'better' alternative would of been the identical Koxx rim, yet they're more expensive and without eyelets. Does it seem like someone's chatting shit here? Story is I've bought a Hog rim today, and my mate says it's shite, just like the Viz rim. We've had a slight argument and I'm going to base the truth on comments on here. Can all people knowledgeable in this topic please comment here. Nick.

English today (spec  with the poems 'Revenge' and 'On the highway' was uber easy. Part A "Explain the meanings of the unseen poem" Which was easy "Show use of vocabulary for effect in the unseen" "Compare similarities between 'on the highway' and the unseen poem" Part B "There is an essay writing competition which is on the topic of promlems in the next decade. "Analyse and comment on the view that although equality between men and women has improved slightly, it still isn't 'equal'." (Y) Easy

I don't believe you are downloading at 12MB/Sec. I'm on a 2.2mb line and I get approx 240 kb/sec normally. Hm. Good video

Have You Ever Downloaded Music Illegally?the Poll
Dai the Socket replied to biketrialler's topic in Chit Chat
Haha. Not me :D I download. I don't actually mind. I download full albums. I share none because I don't want any chance of getting caught, and also it opens a port to possible hackings. Erm. I haven't bought a proper CD in ages. Yet i have 1500 tracks on my iPod and iTunes. :D -
Well it's not some people's cup of tea is it. It's laborious, and under paid. Also can be quite strenuous since you're driving, loads. My dad's a lorry driver and I've been with him loads and in my opinion, it's shite. I can't beleive he can do it all day. It must be so f**kin' boring, but he's used to it and can't be arsed changing jobs now. There's no point since he's only like 10 years off retirement. It's the same as with Sainsburys. I used to work there. It was f**king boring and uber easy, and I got £4.05 an hour. Ok money for easy work but it's not pushing you, interesting, intricate etc. Nick

Haha. French Higher listenin was uber easy 'cept a couple of questions. Think I should have atleast a C, most probably a B which is like 5 - 7 points out of 8 :) Yey. I was shitting it too :P
-
My profile's mediumish. Not as loud as my friend's Hope Bulb though. I don't really mind. I like the reassurance of a hub you can hear though :)
-
It's alright for some :P I've got French Listening tomorrow. I'm uber shit at it too. Should revise but if I don't know it now, I won't know it by tomorrow morning. That's my theory. I'm really good at French speaking, but that's because I can get around stuff well, but I f**k up on listening and stuff! I got 4/8 points in my mock :) Only just scraped a C overall in French. It was my 7/8 Oral (damn right I'm good :P) which pushed it up, just!

On my English paper today my second question was SOLID. Really f**kin' confusing! I think I was with AQA, and has specification B. The pre-released was all based about Cars/Transport/Speedcamera. The First question was ok. Comparing and writing about language techniques in the Pre-Released. Then the Second question was the unseen one! Which was really hard and didn't make sense. I f**ked that one up! And the third question was that we had to write to our local MP opposing against the current suggestions that congestion and pollution will triple in the next decade. And suggest / Advise solutions. That one was ok. Graphics was quite hard actually. My drawings were shite. I had higher paper, and It was about Sports Drinks and Fruit. Had to design the carton (Y)

That's the fastest I've had off Trials-Shack. I get 250kb/sec - 280kb/sec normally. Even on that Eenoehilejhrilgj thing. (Y)
-
When i download I sometimes get 70kb/sec, sometimes like 5kb/sec. And i'm on a 2MBit Line! (Y)
-
It's 30-45% for a C 45-60% for a B 60% + for an A 70%+ for an A* Something like that anyway. Anything under a C is classed as a 'U' in the higher paper  Edit: Quote: There pretty easy to remember like grauve is used on magazines and shiznit! You won't get far calling Gravure 'grauve' printing (Y)

Hehe... Sorry. It didn't come up in my exam anyway. It's just writing 2 numbers out as factors of their prime numbers. Then getting the biggest, seeing what numbers are in it that aren't in the smallest, putting them onto the line, and multiplying it out :D Quite simple really. No quadratic equations or Simultanious equations were on it! That 0.39 recurring (the 39 bit) was ace. You had to prove why it was 13/33, I knew it and was grinning :D <- Like that, when it came up. You just multiply it by 100x so it = 39.39 recurring, then 1x = the 0.39 recurring bit. Take 1x from 100x, so it's 39 over 99x, which simplifies, to 13/33  Ace. :D I had to really concentrate not to start giggeling like a little girl when I knew that one. It was 6 marks I think too. Missed a couple of 3 mark Q's out though. Meh! I'm doin' graphics / GraPHiX to those who can't spell... Quite looking forwards, but there's always the time factor and I can't draw neither. I need an 'A' Performance to keep my grade too! lol... A very happy nick.... About to learn about Blow and Injection moulding, printing processes, plastic types and then draw some fruit :P Then read my English texts :P

Chai. I had that question on Mine  I got the (0,7) but couldn't work out the second (highest) point on the graph at all! I just guessed something. Can't remember what. It had 14 in though Lol... There were stupid marks given for really easy Indicies stuff too. Like What is 5 (to the power of) 2 X 5 (to the power of) 4 in terms of 5? Erm. Times means Add. So it's 5 (to the power of) 6 (Y) And that's 2 marks. Yey. lol..
-
Lol Yeah, I've found out how to do them properly now. I wasn't taking the biggest and finding the difference blah blah.. I had maths. I was grinning so much though it all. It asked me loads of stuff, and I knew like 80% of it for certain, and had pretty good guesses at it! I was doing higher  Last Vector question was surprisingly hard. It was the 'show how this is parallel to AQ's Midpoint'or whatever. Took quite a bit of working out.

Erm.. I had to do something on behalf of a local or acessable museum. I did the NMPFT = National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. Did a website, promotional poster, and then a box to send info in the post. Website took a week. Poster took half an hour, 50 mins including printing. Then the box took f**king ages, like 4 weeks lol. I did loads at home on my Mac so I was realy pleased since I finished with time to make them all High A grades. Just got my Coursework marks back and I got 99% of the possible marks that you can get (of 60%) so I'm pretty happy with that :D Just do something for BT or Onza or something? (Y)

Parents / Homelife That Effects Your Riding
Dai the Socket replied to CBProductions's topic in Chit Chat
I had a break from revision today (2 hours) tonight. Inbetween revision. Went biking. Came back at 10pm. Mum has a massive go at me 'cos apparently she 'bets my friends aren't going biking the night before an exam' and she doesn't realise I need biking, and sport's to clear my head. My mum's really ace at times but parents f**king piss me off LOADS at times too. If I want to go riding, i'll go. But they do have a say in things. They don't say stuff for no reason. She's only wanting me to do well in my exams I guess. :D (Y) -
I have, earlier today. I printed it off, and the third question, about LCM - Lowest Common Multiple actually doesn't make sense. I've checked all my books, gone through the number's Factors etc etc and it doesn't work out. It seems a tad harder than I expected. I hardly knew anything. I've been revising upto now, tonight. And i'm waking up at 7am tomorrow, revising until 9am, then goin to school at half past after my breakfast. Revising Maths on the bus. Meeting my mate at 10.30, then revising maths until the exam. I think i'm going to ask my teacher if he's free to talk me through some of the Sin cos tan graphs and stuff. I was away and reallllly don't get them! Only just refreshed my memory of the rules/laws of indides! Eek! Yours is different to mine. I'm pretty sure. I do separate papers with loads of topics in. Section A's questions you have to answer. Section B's there's like 8 and you pick the ones which you're strongest in / your teacher has prepared you for. I did River, Coastal and somethingelse landscapes. They were ok. I did P.E. a while back, my second exam I think. It was uber uber uber easy. I literrally knew every question. I'm doin' it with Edexcel and it was just easy! I knew like atleast 90% of them, so i'm hoping that's going to be an A or A* if i'm lucky (Y) I really enjoy PE though, and it's not the short course. So I didn't mind revising it at all. Also, my school's PE teachers are gay and teach it to A-Level, so they say, so when we come to the exam we find it piss easy. Meh :D :(

Haha I know what you mean. I must of come across so f**king stupid though. My handwriting's really wank, and I kept refurring to stuff as 'it' and 'that' and not identifying it, merely because I didn't know the technical name for it lol. Best get off anyway. I'm going biking. Been revising Maths for like erm, half an hour. Meh, There's time tomorrow (Y)
