  1. Well look at Mr "I have loads of Trials-Shack videos and need the filename to find it anywhere near quickly"
  2. Erm. External Hdd's are ace. I've got a 150gb LaCie one. Same as Jon MacK's. It's pretty cool. Connected via Firewire though, but that only means copying stuff over is uber uber fast, you won't tell much difference between USB 2.0 and Firewire. You can't have that much ram. You need to buy Ram cards. Read: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/ram.htm. I dont't 100% get it but I know you can't do it. Put it this way. My computer will fit 4gb of Ram. To get 4gb of ram, I need a wallet with £1000 in. Then I can buy 4gb of ram. (Y) They're like £400 per 1gb card. Or a bit cheaper if they're a shop's own make or whatever. They're Mac Prices anyway. Nick
  3. Hmm. I've got the NV-GS 40 and I phoned up Panasonic and they told me it wasn't even meant to work as a webcam for msn messenger. Only Yahoo or something. I've got a PC laptop, without firewire, but the cam and my laptop has Usb, so i plugged that in, and the picture f**ks up big time. It's on webcam mode and stuff. The screen that it puts through it all diagonal and liney. You can hardly make out anything from the cam. Quite annoying actually. Anyone got any ideas? :shifty:
  4. Oh dear god. Those are ones to add to the list. Pwnage innit 1337 m8. You're calling HIM a noob? When you're a noob to riding? Wtf. Loser.
  5. Timmy. If it's aveage weather tomorrow, I think Ali C, Aran, Me and Woddy are off upto the glen. You fancy going? This is if it isn't uber hot. Nick (Y)
  6. But even if it was on my Supermac. Which kicks 99.854258971258 % of the world's PC population's asses. Then it's suck. (Y)
  7. I'll tell you what it is (Y) It's shit. You know why? 'Cos it's on a PC. :P Isn't it Danny.
  8. Can't you get some with remote lock-out which'll take it down to like 20mm? Some Marzocchi ones? Nick (Y)
  9. I want to ride bmx now (Y) Anyone got any vids of dirt bmx racing? Or selling a bmx cheapish? :P
  10. I wish I could come. No-one wants to ride it this Wednesday as-well do they? If they can't do Sunday? Or I might ride some Rocks with Ali.. (N) Nick
  11. The song is: Gavin Rossdale - Adrenaline. It's the sound track for XXX I think. Yeah. Ali C was on fire (N)
  12. We were talking about this yesterday I think. I like it when it's sunny, dry, and warm ish, but not 28 degrees, like it was then! Something like 15 / 17 degrees is perfect. Fine to ride in a teeshirt, but not too hot that you die :)
  13. I wish i had some chocolate in the house. I just finished some rice pudding and didn't have any chocolate buttons etc to put in it. I was really gutted! Had to do with some posh raspberry jam I bought today.
  14. A short video can be found at http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download....Z9TM228AAAuq7xs. It's only 8mb, and in .mov format (quicktime) Hope you think it's ok. Only taken a couple of mins. Nice riding by Ali C goin' down (Y)
  15. Haha. Jesus. I haven't laughed that hard in like a month. Literally. Hehe. You nearly split my lip (Y)
  16. (Y) I think so. Carl is anyway. I'm jelous. I want to ride damn it. Can't be arsed working. It's going ot be 29 degrees + by the way. I'd get your suntan cream on! Nick (Y)
  17. + Cut the text talk and poor spelling / grammar. + Stop having non-topic conversations. + Start having some maturity to your posts. And you might get validated / respected on the forum. Yeah. This topic hasn't much point. People like riders but there's no point 'voting' or whatever, about which they prefer. I think this has been done anyway. There's a search function to aid your 'recollection' so you put it. I'm not meaning to sound 'harsh' but seriously. C'mon, get your acts together.
  18. You do need to be fit. I know you do. I've been looking at the Police too Michael. My best mate's cousin went to get in and failed fitness. I'm not sure about the guy's 'soccer coach' or whatever, but I know you need to do intensive training to get through the selection processes. One of my mum's friends at work has a daughter and she's going to the gym 3 times a week making sure her CV fitness and explosive strength etc is all in top condition. You fail one part of the program, you do it all again. I really like the idea of superiority and putting something back into the community to be honest. When I meet police which are police, civil and generally nice guys, who might even have to tell you not to do something when you're biking, I respect them and think they're pretty cool. I'm not sure whether to do into Journalism / Media / Graphic Design / Website design kinda of thing. Which is really competative at the moment. Some people (like Simon from Trials-Shack) really kick ass at stuff and they're uber young (he's only 18 i believe (Y)) That kinda of competition makes it hard to get a good job! I really like photography and aren't too shabby on website production, however I'm best at the initial designs for them. As you will find from the new Heatsink website I hope :D On the other hand, I could go into the police after University. I'm definately going to university as I want a degree to fall back on. As they're good for anything in my opinion. Criminology possible, or graphic design? Or business stuff if I like business studies next year for 6th form :) Then there's the process of going through the police. 2 years minimum of being 'on the beat'. Then you get into squad cars and can go into specialist areas like fire arms, helicopters, motorbike, high speed pursuit unit etc. Thought it might help you anyway. Sorry for the big, f**k off rant! Nick (Y)
  19. Generally, the lower, the easier to sidehop it is (Y) As you can tuck the bike up more.
  20. I rode with a dude on a Vinco today and oh jesus. There was about 5" between our bar heights (Y)
  21. You say that like it's a bad thing? I'm at work. Building Apollo FS26's and Frogsters. The joy. P.s. I built a GT iDrive Comp last week. That was so exciting. Not.
  22. Might be the big wheel'd version then :) I'm 6 foot and fit it fine. Nick
