I can't believe you didn't like my bike
-
Take it a Local Bike shop. Or someone who knows a fair bit about bikes like a trials rider mate who's at halfords or whatever. I'm riding Leeds @ the weekend anyway so.... Oh yeah, it's Forks, not folks :(
-
Yeah. I got a puncture last attempt at the bigger one haha. Yeah I'm coming I think. Aslong it's not shit weather in my opinion! I've quit work so I don't have to work due to it being a Tuesday :)

Static. A bit more, that was made pretty noicely.

Just ignore Monkey. He can be a dick. Ignore him if you can. I choose not to 'cos usually it's quite amusing when he picks on New Members, however sometiems he picks on ones which don't deserve to have that done to 'em. Just ignore him Dude. Nick.

Good idea batman! That's the thing Nick, I had some COMPLETE f**kTARDS at my work. I was expected to bring 72 bikes upstairs in boxes, put 'em away, make the notes, change the notes on't computer and cut 18 boxes up outside, in dark. Put 'em into the skip. When the 'Floor Manager' who's just a fat b*****d who's been there so long they've gotta make him some kinda fake position, does nothing, and someone I know who's a Part-Timer too, does not much. Faces up. I felt unfairly treated and got sick of it and told him I quit :D Good idea about posh hotels and restaurantes. There aren't that many around me, but I can find some. Hehe.

Hi-Tec, an Apple shop in Bradford (Not an Apple Apple shop, just a reseller) has the new iPods in so.... My iPod Nano's with 'em 'cos they were gonna send it off to Apple to get fixed, cos the screen has cracked and it won't work, and it's got 3 small dents on the back, then 1 massive one from being sat on I think, on the side. It's not pretty. But they can't, 'cos Apple will charge 'em £150 to fix it, however If I send it back, then I might get it fixed free so they say. Meh.

I worked at Sainsburys before and got bored big time. Not fun! Really boring. I want somthing a bit more interesting and fun to be honest. Don't mind having to work hard and have targets or whatever, as long as it's interesting and with interesting people, but that's obviously where I work. Good point about bar work Tom (Y) What kinda places should I go to? Big places like Goose and stuff? Or small pubs / restaurantes? I don't think I'd mind stuff like that, nor being a barman. But I'm not 18 yet as I said. Cheers :) Nick Ps Halfords sucks...

Halifax? Haha. I'll be out this wkend...
-
I'll come. Quit work now so I can ride Sundays. If it's good weather I'll definately be out.

I posted this in the wrong forum. Should of been Chit Chat. Anyway. I dont want to do any f**king paper round. I'm 17, I don't treck around in rain and snow delivering papers. Doesn't happen. I want something retail marketing ish. Inside. And Warm.

So then. I'm looking for a new job. Preferably interesting, with a variation of tasks, fairly good pay and about 10 - 14 hours a week. I'm 17 so can't do bar work. I've worked at Halfords and just quit 'cos the apparent floor manager is an incompetent arse hole, also building bikes with plastic levers and having to tell people they're 'ace' when actually don't work at all, is dishonest. Woolworths? Bars? C'mon people. Tell me about your jobs, then I can decide what I wonna look for. Loads of my mates work at this place called Teamsearch which is a call centre and really flexible hours, sounds good for over xmas atleast. Thanks :D Nick

I quit my job so maybe.

Do You Prefer To Give Or Recieve Christmas Presents?
Dai the Socket replied to PaRtZ's topic in Chit Chat
Yeah. I really like just knowing you've got someone something which they really like, rather than just a tenner or whatever. For Christmas I think I'm buying myself a Tattoo (Y) and then buying one of my mates 3 tickets for his favourite band. Should be decent. One of my friends got me a 'Higher Education' poster saying about Weed and stuff, for my new room. Really good haha. My mum wasn't best impressed though (Y) "Dr. Dope says: Smoke three of these bad boys and you'll feel much better." hehe. -
Wonna let me stay at your after (Y) Saves me trecking home hehe

Aww mark you bitch. You got here before I did. That site took the best part of 3 seconds to find. Glad you always talk from yourself in your posts Pete, not copy them from a site, 'cos you know f**k all. -

Erm. Well since Palladium's made from Platinum, I think it's a complement, but i'm not sure. What I've worked out so far with Dan Ko  is. If the demand has gone up for Platinum, then there'll be excess demand, which'll make an increase in price, which'll make suppliers of Palladium change to just selling Platinum won't it? And if there's movement in supply, and price, then is it a Price elasticity of Supply? I need to use a Diagram so the question says (8 marks too). So....
-
Well I've got set a homework, and I really don't get it. It's about Palladium, which's price has increased dramatically over the last 5 years but seems quite unstable. Palladium is used a lot and is needed more and more for Electronic stuff in Japan, USA etc, so price goes up, but people still buy (Price inelastic) My question says: Briefly describe the behavious of the price of palladium between 1991 and 1995. Done that. Then I'm stuck on: Explain, with the aid of a diagram, the effect on the market of palladium of: an increase in the demand for platiunum. I really, really, really don't get it. Do I do a PED (price elasticity of demand) curve? Or Cross ED to show it between them? ARGH! Thanks for any help you smart people can give... Nick
