You're saying this on an internet forum about bike trials. That's f**king pathetic.

Over the last week we've sold 11 Mac Pro's and 33-35 iMacs which are just intended for business use. That's mainly for retail and offices for smaller to medium size businesses.

I'm about 98.13% sure it's the same discount as education. There's different rates for different products and it depends if you're in Uni or College as to rates too.

I don't think it's fair to say that to be honest. Anyway, I've been watching this thread since you wrote it George and have been thinking about what I wanted to say. I didn't want to write an essay and I wanted to pick my words really carefully. I think that essentially what a lot of people have said in here is really nice, and that you're a perfect role model for everyone. Your dedication and mind over matter is something which a many aspire to have. I hope everything sorts it's self out and you do realise you did your best and there was nothing more you could have done.

Hey, I saw some riders in sheffield a while ago at the station, couldn't remember the bikes off hand - maybe someone on a python but I was in a rush. Either way, I'm thinking about taking trials up and wondered how many riders there are locally or who ride town centre regularly? Thanks Nick

FYI It's a lie

You're saying a cheap Onza T-Bird is lighter than a Koxx XTP because it's cheaper?

Well personally I've had iPods with the majority of the crowd and find them decent. I had my old Nano robbed so using an old school Mini at the moment but gna get an iPod Touch soon. If you can stretch an extra tenner you could get a classic for £159 which is 80gb, big screen for better video and you can store ripped movies on it which could come in handy. Or you've got the 8gb new Nano for £129 which has a smaller screen. Apart from apple stuff you've got Creative and some Sony ones which are okay but don't sell anywhere near as many units as Apple's. The 1 year warrenty on Apple stuff is good and you can buy £39 apple care which gives you 3 years warrenty so you'll get one replaced or fixed within 2 days if you take it to Apple. Up to you really.

Used to work at halfords ages ago. Was shit. The system I worked on was blue screen and white block type stylee and wank - fresh outa the 1830's as Rob would say. Halfords is shit to be honest lol oh my god TF changes 't-b-h' to 'to be honest' thats awesome.

How much you got to spend and how much music do you want to store on it? Bothered about video capabilities?

Doesn't work for me. No product listing..

Surprisingly enough you can only get discount if you're 16-18 and in College, or in a fulltime university degree - no BTEC's. Every college and Uni on their list gives a list of names or people who are subscribed on the course and if your name doesn't match up then your order's cancelled or enquired into, deceptive or what.

BTW Cheapest iPod Nano is £99 including VAT.

If you're absolutely new to Mac and you want to be leet, then think about One to One by Apple. They give you up to 52 one-hour sessions over the year and you can have them on literally anything, whether it be 123 of your Mac, to Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or 'Open Project' which means you can bring your Uni presentations and documents in and then get advice on how to make them look nicer and run smoother. Also basic programs - you mean ones you use a lot on your PC? Winzip is Stuffit Expander which can do .rar, .zip, .sit, .sitx, and about 20 more. Azureus is most definitely available from Source Forge and has been for yonks, as is Firefox, Adobe CS, Microsoft Office etc. I think that the Mac Minis are solid computers and work really well if you think about the 1.83GHz or 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors in such a tiny box! Your desk looks near and you've got a powerful computer which can hold 2gb of ram if you want it. You looking at buying new or second hand? Mac Minis are gonna be discontinued so it's rumored in a few months but nothings for sure. Also new Quicktime and VLC are really decent for supporting pretty much any video type and now they read WMP files.

I've opened Word documents in Pages before, also it claims Office compatibility but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work Pages to Word. I'm using Word 2004 on my Mac and it's pretty good, and with Office '08 for Mac expected in January 2008 should be good. Tomm, what version of iPhone you using? I've got to admit I thought the old iPhotos were a little wank, but the new iLife, iPhoto '08 (v7.1) is really good. Granted it isn't a patch on Photoshop for advanced effects and custom stuff especially RAW but even for when I'm processing my photos from working at the Plug, doing levels whilst exporting to a certain size is really good: On top of that, I think what Jon and Janson said about running Windoze on your mac it's easy. Just download or use (if your mac is new) Bootcamp and it's soooo easy! A lot of concerns about getting a mac is that firstly stuff isn't compatible. They're not sure what isn't compatible, just stuff - although once clearing up Office works fine and now stuff like Need for Speed Carbon, Madden, Sims etc. all work on OS X pretty much a lot of people are happy. I think what might be a good idea is maybe going into an Apple store and having a proper look over a Mac - even if you're going to buy one second hand, then you'll get used to the OS and also get an idea of how they work compared to Windows based PC's.

Haha I find it quite amusing

There's a lot of problems with unlocking the iPhone to being multi-network which could leave you f**ked to say the least. Firstly Apple or and o2 reseller don't sell the iPhone Sim free or on a pay as you go contract (which they do for AT&T if you fail credit). It's required that you activate the phone via your iTunes dock which then automatically tells o2 it's connected and gives IMEI details of the phone and such. If you do want to unlock the phone and use it on another network with another Sim, then essentially you're damaging software which is really important to the function of the iPhone and also future updates could block your iPhone permanently leaving you with an expensive brick. I really wouldn't recommend it just from a person point of view but also it's obvious it's been unlocked as o2 can trace the IMEI number and know it's not being used with an o2 sim - they could rape you for breech of contract. I'd be very cautious as it invalidates your warranty and Apple can plug it in to a Mac Genius computer and see what networks it's been on, what software has been installed and modified as well as loads of other information with the water sensor and stuff. I wouldn't do it. With an iPod Touch maybe but not an iPhone.

Like Rob says, when you delete a song it asks if you want to move the file to trash or not, if you click no then obviously you get a shit load of files that are in your hard drive but not in your iTunes. Also do you have anything like Limewire tunes or stuff like that in?

Konica Minolta n00b! Seems like a nice girl, hope she does well though.

Unfortunately not. You can use Adium for all these types of online messenger but iChat works only with .Mac, AIM, Jabber and Google Talk accounts.
