  1. If that was aimed at me, I use my MBP for when I shoot out and about then edit pics for Bands on site, burn them to CD straight away, or when I go away on Photography trips like I have recently to Paris or London. "charlie >est< " I think to be honest you're being an immature little willy, no surprise you're 14 yeah?. Grow up yup?

  4. Nevermind, thought it was someone who lived near me. Meh
  5. Lol not really. It's just retail. Selling shizzle.. I've worked at Jessops before for 8 months so I know just about all the phrases in the book when people ask stupid questions. The phrase I end up saying most is "to be honest, is all comes down to personal preference between the cameras", meaning they're both shit, just buy one and f**k off, so I can make a sale on a 1D Mk2 with a 300mm F/2.8 L. £235 a week will be nice though, before my holidays.
  6. I take what I previously said back, You're only 16 so good going for that age. I'd look into CSS more. Tables are disgusting for websites, use CSS. Much easier.
  7. I watched it the day before yesterday, and some black dude was singing with a guitar and he was absolutely, awesome. I mean, incredible. Really good singer. I think it's a bit too late for you to go on, don't you?
  8. http://www.macrumors.com/2007/06/12/safari...bilities-found/ However, you've gotta take into account its only a Beta version, so you'd expect holes like this. That's when they get patched up.
  9. It depends how big* the site is, how many logo variances you need (and for what purpose), time frame, what specification you want. It really does depend on a lot of things. No-where near enough information for me to hazard a guess at what we'd charge (not that I can do 100% e-commerce anyway.. but you get what I mean) Is it going to be the next Amazon / eBay or are you just wanting to sell a few products in a few categories. Also do you have an online payment system in mind for your custom e-Commerce site? Those are the questions that jump to the front of my mind, although there are many more!
  10. Haha Mega! Just had a phone call from my old manager at Jessops who's now working in Bradford, and she asked if I wanted a job for summer. Which I sooo do! £5.35 an hour. Full time hours Mon-Fri 9-5.30 Well happy now haha. I get to talk about lenses and stuff all day long hehe
  11. f**k. Me. Haha f**k going anywhere thats more than a Quid. To be honest I don't pay attention, I just pay what I've gotta pay lol. But It's usually 95-98p
  12. Oh by the way, do the online thing. I've done this like twice lol. Also say you've lost both, then you don't have to send anything back, you just get 2 replacements. Same price
  13. I slept walked when I was younger but just sleep talk now. I do it a lot though, not when I'm with a bird though which is really lucky haha
  14. I think that is the main thing. Why are you spending a lot more money Dave. Just get good with the camera you've got. You can get perfectly good photos from a Nikon, as you can from a Canon. Maybe some professionals prefer Canon, but you're nowhere near that level. Save your money.
  15. I'm shocked you didn't tap or hook her car. What were you thinking!?!?!?
  16. I'm tempted to get Sound Sticks actually. My graphics room as school used to have them and I remember them being good, small, punchy bass and look really nice. Anyone know of anything a little bigger / better but not moving on to floor standers? I really value the replies, cheers!
  17. I was wondering whether anyone could shed a bit of light into what set-up everyone uses or did use at University in terms of Speakers for music. I'm looking at buying some new speakers that are smaller than my current floor standing Mission M33i's (linked to Sony Hifi and CD seperates) due to the obvious lack of space and need at University. I'm hoping to get a Laptop, and thus meaning any speakers will need to work from a 3.5mm stereo input jack thing. Also, I'm guessing they have to be self-powering / have an amp in them, so that you don't have to have a huge seperate amp, which I really don't have space for. I value my music and enjoy quality, bass and tone, meaning I'd rather pay a little bit more than having your cheapo £12.99 speakers which just play music and die at the word 'bass' let alone tone of it. My budget is pretty relaxed to be honest, I'm open to ideas and will happily stretch to something more expensive (~£200) if I feel they're worth it, as no doubt I'll keep them for the next few years until I move into somewhere bigger. I was looking at the JBL Monitors but find it difficult to find out whether they're powered or actually require phono wires from an Amp? Thanks for any help you can give!! Nick
  18. Just Leeds festival for me, as per usual
  19. I don't actually like flash but it works good here. Load times are instant which is my biggest concern usually. Really good site matt, looks awesome and really informative
  20. Defo keep the pound. Not just for 'its unique, keep it' because thats a shit argument. I think we should keep it because if we were to join the Eurozone then we wouldn't have control over our own interest rates. Our inflation and growth isn't anything like what it is in the Eurozone at the moment, so changes in interest rates for the EU, (eg an increase to curb high inflation) means that it could stop our growth immediately, and plunge us into a recession. Our economy isn't matched with those of the Eurozone countries yet, so its not worth doing. We'd just lose out, especially in trade.
