Reccomend Me A Bike For £700-£750
Dai the Socket replied to stushine's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I don't think they work weekends, for good reason! Probably best to email them, I don't think they're up for MSN tech support! -
Id just like to say you're possibly the mosh pathetic person I have ever enountered on a forum with your sig. i'm drunk, i know i am. infact i'm absolutely wasted but like you said, its only a forum. how about you get f**ked and stop posting? Tf will be a better place, Jon MacK will get back to his original sig and we'll all be happy. Wankerrrrrrrrrrrr

Cookies aren't fixed on Safari anyway. Keeps forgetting me, I auto-filled it too.

This is possibly the shittest thread I've ever seen.

With the D40 and D40x you need AF-S lenses which have the motor in the lens rather than the camera. Nikon decided to take the motor out of the D40 to save weight and cost I guess, meaning that AF-S are the only lense types you can have on if you want to keep your Auto-focus, which to be honest is vital. AF-S lenses are expensive as f**k compared to normal

They won't take you on at 15, I very much doubt. Had to be 16 when I started there a couple of years ago. Not all its cracked up to be I found, fixing and selling shit bikes is so boring. I'm doing some Part Time work at Expect Distribution again which is where I worked last summer for the best part of a year. Really good there with half decent pay (£5.50 p/h) and really nice people to work with, plus I really know what I'm doing, get to wear what I want and can sit down all evening!! Doing medical trials this summer in August for 5 days too which will earn me £770 haha.

Aw mannn D40x sucks.

Anything yet?

As far as I'm aware, they've got it linked up to a dispatch machine and program so that lists of items needed to be dispatched each day are printed and labels are done. I remember that needing quite a lot of setting up. Oh and obviously there is the huge CMS. They're what their boss told me anyway. They needed it done in 2months too.
-
Just to give you an idea, I remember talking to the dude at Powersport bikes and he said that the design, CMS and build for their website was in the region of £10k-14k, he wouldn't give me specifics, said he got it through a company they know too so was priced well.
-
Essentially, you want something similar to http://www.powersport.co.uk/?

I take my laptop out on shoots often. You're a f**king retard to say 'who in the right mind would use PS on a laptop'. Infact, thousands of photographers do. A lot of paps use laptops and phones / wireless networks to upload pics straight away, and get that 'money shot' on the press ASAP. You're a f**king retard, no lie. I want you to get banned for my Christmas present. It'd be worth it.

I thought Lilly Allen was good. She got out of breath a little bit haha. My Sister told me that that woman was Rod's wife / girlfriend of some description. Lucky b*****d!

Meh. They were hardly 'going' Isn't anyone good one? I want like Linkin Park hahahaha

Who's gonna be on later?

Cheers. I'd agree with that. Had a quick read through but no-where near enough info for anyone to give any hazard at price etc. What do you need on the site? What does it need to do. What level of input / control do you want, content, product listings? I'm guessing you don't want online purchasing for a moto-trials website 'cos that'd be a bit of a waste of money if you ask me. I doubt many people would buy online, especially as delivery wouldn't be available. If you do want to have a chat about it just fill in the free consultation request on our homepage, or PM me and I'll give you a ring for a chat. We're actually pretty busy this summer with projects but might be able to fit another one in. Cheers, Nick.

I don't see any spectators? -
Aren't you 15? How can you drive? Well, I live in Shelf which is an alright village I guess, in Halifax but it's the Bradford side. As you'll probably know, the Bradford riots were back in Summer '01. Bradford city center is really shit I think. I know there are loads of nice places in Bradford district 'cos it's a huge one, but center is just awful. Really violent I get the impression of. Someone always wanting to start a fight with you, and ethnicity usually comes into play. "You lookin at me 'cos im asian? you want some white boi?" and such. Halifax is shit. Pretty violoent. Me and a few mates got jumped a few months ago after being out on the lash at 5am by some Chavs. I was too wasted to spell my name let alone say anything aggressive, so from what my mates tell me they just started on us for no reason. I don't really remember much from 10pm onwards 'cos I was that hammered (which is a first actually) but apparently we got jumped by ~12 chavs. I got hit 3 times in the face then went down and cracked my head on the floor. Knocked unconscious for 15mins so my mates phoned cops and ambulance but I just sprung back to life soon enough like nothing happened so we got a taxi. My head was f**ked for a week after with this huge cut and my shoulders hurt a bit. Meh. England is shit, don't you think? That's why I'm looking at moving to America or Canada after university.

Sorry IE6, yeah. Lol. Still a shit load of people using IE6 though.
-
I think it is you being old and grumpy to be honest. It's a topic for discussion, on kit that people use and recommend. It's a forum and the whole point is discussing stuff. Some people like some kid, others like others.
-
Not that impressed to be very honest. Took ages to load. Stuff like: Really hinder load times, and i'm on 7mb broad band. Plus I'd re-think about png transparency 'cos in IE7 as far as I know, it's not supported. Oh and I wouldn't make text images.

Sorry I was meant to quote that little kid, not you. Wrong button.
