  1. I've came to a better conclusion let the retards who like to use water use water and let the normal people use hydraulic fluid.
  2. By the brake slipping while i was at the edge of a wall and i had to let go of the bike and i landed on my hands.
  3. As a matter of fact i have used water in my old hs33, tryed it out because i had no fluid. It didn't hold very well and felt wired because the water didnt pump around the system as well as hydraulic fluid, and caused my to fracture my wrist.
  4. Common sense tells us hydraulic brakes use hydraulic fluid not water !
  5. Why don't tarty's reccomend water bleeds ? Because it's a stupid idea ? Yes. Why was proper hydraulic fluid invented ? Because it obviously works better than water.
  6. There's a reason hydraulic brakes are called hydraulic brakes, because they're supposed to have hydraulic fluid in them. If the are supposed to use water surely they would be called water brakes, think about it.

  8. You could also sand your rim a little to make the grind less harsh and it shouldn't destroy your pads.

  10. look on tarty bikes and find some pads which are up for a medium grind, to me it sounds like your using soft pads for smooth rims, you want some tnn bealey pads

  12. I was too, use a 20T rear and the same 22T front, problem solved mate.
  13. I use metal washers, if the chains too slack it skips. Yeah i think it is a k hanger. What gear do you usually use for trials ?

  15. I dont use a half link i bought KMC white chain from ebay for a tenner, and i think no one recommends this because the chain is tight and people may think it will snap but ive had mine for 3 months now and its still fine.

  17. I can get it for £15 free postage too, and you can fit the your self, so no fitting fee.

I did the same thing on my phase i went online to superstar components they have the sprockets i use a 20t but if i were you go for the 18t its £10 for the sprockets and spacers, there brill too, i also bought the tensioner but a word of advise dont buy it, it doesnt work + you dont need it just take links out for your chain, its a bit tight but i works fine. I also bought the cassette tool for £5 i fitted the single speed kit my self, i saved a lot of money and i have had no problems with it at all, it was a great buy.

  20. I fixed this problem by fitting a new axel and putting a big thick washer on each side of the outer frame.
