i have just cut the tar in half and tried the inside and it isnt working

my rim is rubish at holding a grind :/

i did i let it set for two days it looks and smells the same as the one my mate give me it just isn't sticking to the rim

Hi a mate of mine give me some tar for my brakes, i have little left so i found some on the road where a crack had been repaired, i heated the tar up and moulded it into a ball ready to use on my rim, when i went to used it i rubed it on my rim and i doesn't seem sticky enough to stick, i heated it up with a lighter until it started the bubble and then tried rubbing it on my rim but it cools every quickly and wont stick to my rim, have i dug up the wrong tar or am i doing something wrong ? i dug the rights hand side one

dehydration could be the the cause, because i have a headache too and after every tiring riding i get headaches and cramp

hi just wondering if this happens to anyone else but after a good days riding when i start to relax i get cramp all over my body. does this happen to anyone else ? Does anyone know how i can stop it, it hurts quite badly.

Why would i do that when i can find tar for free ?

To be honest i only have maggy blacks in so im not really bothered if it ruins them its made my brake amazing.

I put a topic on here a while ago asking if i should use rim tar, everyone told me to keep away from it. Today a mate i was riding with give me some tar, its the best thing ever found i would recomended it to anyone i wish i used it before now. why was everyone telling me not to used it ?
