  1. I would go for Trialtech Sport
  2. I am thinking you should go for 24" since the bike is made mainly to ride bmx and trials on it, and its perfect for you since your coming from bmx to trials, some good brakes to get are Hope Mono Trial.
  3. Anyone in North Yorkshire up for a ride at Catterick? there are 3 of us already going and have been once before and was enjoyed by everyone, we should be meeting at the sports centre opposite Tesco where there is a few walls and plenty of rocks to get a good warm up, most probably be meeting at 11:00 am and then be going off at around 4:30pm. any more info needed please add a reply.
  4. You don't want to keep grinding it again otherwise the rims will get weaker fast, it is usually after 2-3 months for another grind. And when you say the rim grind looks lighter this is because maybe after the grind you didn't clean the rim off? there is still loose material after the grind so it looks like a deeper grind until you clear it off. Also people cant really tell whether a grind is to light by looking at it, its how the brake pads bite into the grind is how you can tell the grind is wearing off or not, if the braking doesn't seem as good as it first was then you can tell that the grind is too light. hope this helps.
  5. I reckon it depends on the cranks being square taper or ISIS taper and how long to cranks are to suit you. But it looks good from my view.
  6. nice riding, but I wish I had somewhere indoors like that, because the snow doesn't agree with trials.
  7. I would say keep with the disc, I find them better in many more ways, unless if you get a good hs33 brake then grind the rim and it should work really well.
  8. RockMan CNC Blues, they work the best with a good rim grind.
  9. I have gone to a stock and I find it a lot easier for gaps, and I can definitely control the bike a lot more than before, it also manages to get up objects with more ease due to the more momentum the bike carries with it.
  10. Merry Christmas to all trials riders!!
  11. as far as I am aware all the trialtech products are great, I have trialtech cranks, pedals, BB(bottom bracket) and chain and they are superb. I do have a Louise disc brake on the front and it is as good as can be. and about putting the cable through the steerer tube, I have seen bikes with this done before so I don't see why you shouldn't. hope this helps
  12. Echo TR Platform 2011 I was looking at pedals to buy before I seen your post and I went back to the pedals and I then seen they match your preferences pretty well, I will hopefully be buying them when I get the money, so I am basically recommending them to you. hope this helps.
  13. sam!! i added you as a friend and put a validation down for you so you should become a member soon, and post something in new members chat not in the thread and people should validate you easier :)
