  1. if someone else rides my bike they can't find a posible way to brake and often they can't even reach the lever but if the levers are near horizontal i get the most anoying cramps in my wrist i just set everything on my bike to the point that it's comfortable for me
  2. yes it is steep but i'm 6.2feet tall and my chest is flush with the beginning of the stem so it's normal, i think it's not as radical as jack carthy's bar and lever combination and on the back wheel it feels good everyone has their own preference, keep that in mind
  3. well hello everybody i was bored of the look of my frame so i was thinking for something new but i didn't had the money. so i rawed the frame and it looks great i think. not super shiny but i don't like that anyway so this is wat it looked like first. when i rawed it, i made a little cut in the front tube because i think it looks cool so here is a picture of how it looks now when finished well i hope you like it if there are questions please ask and tell me what you think of it!
  4. haha no prob mate, i know the problem with the small bike but i can't affort a 26" so i found that a larger wb+riser+larger stem helpt me ;p
  5. perhaps the frame for you, try a secondhand frame if you find one
  6. personaly i think that the high bb wil do the same as the low bb and shot wb, you will stand high on your bike and the bars will be "low" so your back is in an awkward position, and you're not small so it wil have more the back bend effect i think
  7. try a 1020 WB you'll feel the diference directley!
  8. i think your hight is not the real problem, im 190cm (6foot 2) and weigh 70kg and i still ride on a mod, try a longer higher stem and an a raiser bar, i did and it felt good on the bike i rode an onza comp '09 (same geo i think) and i didn't like the feel of the bike now i have an onza blade '10 and it's loads better
  9. I even know a few comp riders that have a hoffmann bike, there are two german guys and Rick Koekoek his frame is also hoffmann. i like the bike that Rick has but not so keen on the other bikes, geo isn't the best (at all)
  10. k heb u op fb denk ik want hyves ken ik zelfs nie, en ik zou graag wedstrijden doen maar ik rij nog niet echt lang dus ik moet nog oefenen hopelijk misschien in 2012 maar ik zie wel. maar ik train best wel veel 3x in de week fitness en de rest rij ik op de fiets. short in english, he asked me if i ride competitions or just some times a week also that he liked the echo urbans. i said that i don't do comps, i only ride at home(or just fun spots) for fun and go to the gym 3times a week to gain strength.
  11. almost, i'm from belgium but close to the borders and i hope they are stong!
  12. haha sorry guy's but i still need some stackers, I'm 190cm high and i don't want to brake my back on the bike thanks for the reply though
  13. Hello all, Finaly I buyed a new fork, including a headset and front rim. Just need to grind the rim and trim the fork length a bit down for all you haters I got an echo urban fork, echo headset and a trialtech rim becouse it's wide. See the bike here! want spec list just ask Tell me what you think of it. thanks Robin
  14. aah didn't know mate, but i know they started the show in belgium to see if people would like it and it did
  15. well i don't know of someone that uses ankle support but i know that 661 have them ,but don't know if they are good tough. or use shoes with ankle support. hope this helps a bit
  16. haha here in belgium the tv show was like 4months ago on air, they probebly used the time to change the language of the comentary. realy liked the show cool that they showed it here on vt4 (a regular chanel) finaly people see more about trial
  17. cool bike + if you are a big guy you need a 20"stem on a 26" best comfort
  18. the best thing to do is just make an M6 bolt out of alu or steel and use loctite to make sure it will sit there for life saw of your homemade bolt and level it with the mount drill in the center of the bolt and tap it's the best alternative i could come up with, i hope you get wath i mean sorry for my english thanks robin
  19. i'm from east-flanders in the area of sint-niklaas pretty boring but i have a trainig spot at home. also that's my problem with brussels people are always b*tching about you "braking" stuff(don't take it personal, when i'm not riding i like brussels) i'm also a natural rider so i don't do street that often but it's fun once in a while. the trial park in aalter is pure natural and compy but if you want to give it a try just ask wesley if he wants to ride there for a moment he is a great guy and verry smart so if you need help he is the man
  20. 1) Kenny is just back home he lives in Aalter in Oost-Vlaanderen or East-Flandes to be fair with you Belgium is as flat as a pancake. but there is a trialspark in Aalter not the biggest but fun also a skatepark.(Wesley wil be more easy to contact becouse Kenny is verry buisy atm, he is trainig for the world cup in Antwerp well Wesley too but he is not as competitive 2)If you want to ride street go to Antwerpen or Antwerp it's fun to ride and also a buisy spot so that's good to promote the sport. 3)Brussels is absolute no fun beleve me as a Belgian XD 4)if you want natural riding then you need to think about the Ardennen. hope this helps Robin
  21. i did this the other day and the drill for the M5 is a 5.2mm the tap is not M6x1.0 but M6x0.8 becouse the M5 has a pich of 0.8mm if tou strip threads you should helicoil it at the moment, I'm afraid u need to keep the M6 and DON'T put the helicoil in the M6hole you taped it wil fit but you wouldn't be abel to fit a boult in it
  22. the onza's are verry strong i had 2 already and loved them, the only problem is that the life of a frame is up to the level you're at. when i began i bashed my bike and it only lasted a year but i had fun on it and the problem is if you are careful you won't have fun. at first i was careful but you can't keep up with it so afer a while you won't care anymore and just bash your bike and build bikes up instead of ful made bikes. thanks Robin
  23. mail to caelifera if you want a geo that suits you, i'm not gonna lie they are ugly but the thing is they are heaven to ride on
  24. i got maxxis creepy crawler but i don't like the way they are in the beginning it's like riding with slicks imo. so i cut some knubs off not, realy THE waight saving it's all about the grip. if you found the combination of erased knobbels you like you'll always use it. the preformance can be improved by this easy modification +my chains and shinguards(realy f*cked my shins before)
  25. nice video man i liked the bonus bit the most with the GoPro keep up with the video's realy like your style of riding
