  2. Thanks for the replys. Will hopfully get a spoke key this weekend and will be able to get the tensions right.
  3. Hi all A while ago i had three spokes snap over a few weeks so took the wheel to the local bike shop to get them replace as i dont have the tool. Thought it was fine and sorted untill today when i landed slightly dodgy and another spoke snapped. I was wondering if snapping a spoke would increase tension on the other spokes and cause them to snap like last time? Thanks Jack

Why did you have your english yesterday? Mine isnt for a few weeks.
  5. Had a search a while ago and found that you can drill out the middle of the star nut to make it easyer to remove. Think there is a video on youtube with someone drilling it out. He just pulled the rest out with pliers. Hope this helps.
  6. Hi all, just thought I would post a picture of my new frame. Thanks Jack
  7. Hi all, I just tryed posting a picture of my bike but the pictures are too big. How do I make the picture smaller?
  8. At the moment i really cant afford a new bb but will filing off some of the crank work
  9. Will change cranks, bottom bracket and freewheel at christmas. Just need a solution till then.
  10. Hi all. Today i recived my new manus 2 frame and transfered all my existing parts onto the new frame. Unfortunatly the cranks catch the frame slightly whilst riding so I stuck a sticker over it but that riped quickly. Is their a way to stop this without buying new cranks as at the moment im moneyless. Thanks in advance. Jack

    New Frame

The reason i like this is because it is about the same geo as the alkali which i find realy good but has disc mounts. I mainly ride at barrow farm or in my garden as i have no street where i live

    New Frame

Hi all I am soon going to buy myself a new frame but unsure if i should buy the new rockman manus 2. On tarty it says it is a comp frame with thin tubing so i was wondering if it would last very long. I wouldnt say im a basher and will be doing a few comp this year but i am going to try to push myself more. Do you think it would be ok or will it snap quickly? Thanks Jack
  13. Thanks for that. What length cranks would you use on a mod.
  14. Hi all I am hoping to replace my current cranks, freewheel and bottom bracket but im not sure what to get. I am looking at the trialtech sport forged cranks with either a neon carbon square taper or a trialtech sport lite isis bottom braket. For the freewheel i am interested in the new rockman 144.12 freewheel but as it is brand new im not sure what it is like. Thanks in advance Jack
  15. Learn to side hop to a decent height Move up to elite route in comps Be able to say that I have a sponser And generaly improve all of my riding to a good level.
  16. Sorry. I ride a onza pro and will be buying a echo sl free wheel when i buy the bb and cranks to use as a ffw. Also what length bb would i need for my bike. Jack
  17. Hi all. I am going to buy new cranks and a new bb but dont know what ones are best. I have around £100 to spend on them Thanks in advance Jack
  18. Either 160 or 180 on mod and 180 or 210 on stock I think. Also what is the difference between the mono trial and tech trial?
  19. Also increase your tire pressure if you havent already. I find manuals really hard with low pressure. Practice on a downhill slope if you can as that helps me go for longer.
  20. As said above. Leave the gyro and especially hydralic ones as a friend had one and was always rebleeding it. Just stick to longer cables or brakeless if you want. Also the best website in my opinion is tartybikes. Brilliant service.
  21. Hi all. Was wondering if the pro carbon protector is worth buying. Also what size would fit my onza pro (silver one)? Thanks Jack
  22. Ok then. Im not keen on echo forks as have snapped a pair of sl's riding up a kerb. I have ridden on tom rankins bike and his forks seem strong and light which is what im after. Also the trialtechs seem heavy compared to the v!z and try-all.
  23. Thanks for that. Think my mind is set with the try-all forxx now.
  24. Thanks for that. They seem to weigh more than the forks like the try-all forxx and Also the viz curved blade forks look good for under a hundered?
