BT Raven 8. Wheelbase: 1055-1085mm adjustable Chainstay Length: 370-385mm (with rim brake), 365-395mm (with disk brake). BB Rise: 20mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Or similar, the short KOT ms2 Wheelbase: Short 1065mm Chainstay Length: 385mm BB Rise: 30mm Head Angle: 70.5 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: Short 655mm (25.75"), Long 665mm (26.5") They are the only ones i can think of in modern frames.... or of course you could go for a leesen, fresh products, Iolo etc and get one custom made in the same geo... but then of course they are steel, and i personally wouldn't put money on the design being strong first time.

I used to do that, and then made the change. i think its worth the change as it has been beneficial, but if you decide not to its not the end of the world. In reply to the thread, simpson mate, you're doing fine. Style can't be taught, it comes with experience and the ability to feel totally comfortable on the bike. Posture and style are worth thinking about and if you are aware of them then thats a good thing, but you don't need to change it, the change will happen naturally with time! Hope its going well man

Is that the actual reason? He didn't break his last frame or anything then? Looks nice, but i did like the black one you had... Are you around over christmas stan cos i will be back up lancaster way with my bike, so hopefully i will be able to meet you, adam etc for a couple of rides

Can You Get Pink Hoses For Your Magura Or Hope?
philking replied to Ashley-Wood's topic in Trials Chat
Pretty sure hope did pink braided hosing at one point, i am sure it is still around somewhere! -
yeah but your basing that on a second hand estimate from someone with a very small, poor quality and distorted picture... this is exactly why no one really knows who has done the biggest, because as soon as somone says, "i recken, thats kind of, about, approximately, nearly, sort of 58ish", then everyone goes FACT: Damon can sidehop 58inches! On topic, i am pretty sure both the coustelliers and TRA can out Tap vince. Yeah he has done big taps, but i would put money on it that Giaco and Gilles have done bigger!

I can no longer come sorry guys. See you all at the next london one?

A few people have asked where they are going, so here is a map courtesy of multimap. The red ring is Waterloo Station, and the green ring is where we are meeting - at the sloped walls in front of the Shell Center. Same again, but arial photo... And one more to put this into perspective of this area of London

I'll be there guys! London is good, not a TGS paradise luckily, just be creative and its all good

I would suggest going to somewhere like Topman or Riverisland because they both sell quite a range of footwear and you will probably find something you like (to suit ur style i mean). Also because they are both highstreet shops you will find that unless you pick something totally outragous then they will pretty much be in 'fashion'. I know some of the stuff they sell is totally shit, but if you just go for a decent leather shoe it will look good

I assume u mean from a mod to a stock? rather than the other way round I used to have a Czar (last years) and i got on fine with the long one - i am only 5'7'' so i would think someone of your height would be good on the long one. However with a lower bb (this year) it will feel longer anyway so maybe the 1070. Have you ever had a stock before?
-
That is absolutely f*cking hillarious, best laugh i have had all day.
-
Cool, but you have to have the same front foot as your front brake or you would have to let go of the back brake... which would have consequences. That trials park looks amazing! What country is it in?

A Few Kbt Demo Stills ( Just A Few For Now )
philking replied to Danny Swindlehurst's topic in Riding Pictures
Bowness Ha ha steves wheel wouldn't even turn in the forks, although his disc didn't rub at all! -
Don't do that - it won't help at all. There are three things i would suggest: 1. Clean the rim really well. There are a few good ideas in this thread on how to do it, but what i would say it put clean water on the rim and ride around dragging the brake, so that pads are rubbing on the rim. Then wipe off all the excess crap that comes off. After doing that get some meths and use it as a cleaning agent, on a clean rag really scrubbing all around the rim with it. The do the same with clean water just to get rid of the residue. 2. Set the brake up. 90% of bikes that come built from the shop have a poor brake set up. What you need to do is make sure the pads hit the rim exactly parallel so that the maximum amount of compound is toucing at once (loosen the pad off slightly, pull the brake quite hard, and look at the pads - they should naturally hit the rim square on, then tighten them up in this position). The other thing i would say is either get a new brake cable, or as you have asken not to spend money, just clean and grease the cable you have. You should take the whole cable out of the cable outer and grease it. Grease the brake mounts, which is where the pivoting takes place. At this stage i would try the brake out, you might just find that doing that has helped enough, if not then move onto step 3: 3. Grind the rim. Take the wheel and tyre off and use an ange grinder to roughen the side walls of the rim. If you are new to the sport this may not sound like an attractive option, but done well it is amazing! Have a search for rim grinding or something and there is plenty of information on how to do it.
