The only problem i see here is that even when the perfect compound is discovered for the pads, some people will still think it is crap. Mainly due to the fact that SO many people don't have the faintest idea how to set up brakes. Also, the compound may be perfect on your specific set up, with the correct grind, rim, brake booster, brake lever and set up but it may fail on others... Obviously that is why your testing will/has covered many different areas of set up.
Unfortunately people will still slag off brake pads saying they are crap, when the real reason is they have contaminated them, or their pads are hitting the tyre, or a million other reasons that have nothing to do with the compound.
Pity really, but for the people who can set up brakes it is an exiting time, and i look foward to the results of all your hard work, thanks guys :D :turned:
