As if zoo!'s are "proper frames" anyway Don't particually like it, but i like onza as a company - Their top end frames are truely great, the Limey is the best of both worlds with a more traditional design, but taking the best of the CNC stuff (seat and chain stay yolks) from the more "cutting edge/experimental" frames. It also has a sh*t hot geometery and a reallky nice finish quality.
  2. Why did this topic suddenly re-surface? It was started over a year ago.... so where did it come from again? and why? Did anything ever come of this park by the way?
  3. sounds like you have air moving around in the sytem that settles to the top when you leave it. Bleed it as adam said, and yes the lever reach adjustement needs lock-titeing.
  4. Its high for a (just) 14 year old... good rider, it is definately him. Good lad and good mate of mine But honestly... why did it matter so much to you? Don't you trust Dan's word of mouth? Anyway, definately not worth its own topic...

    My New Vid

First Select bikes vid i have actually liked All the riding was brilliant and the editing worked nicely, not overdone at all. The switch foot tap was very nice indeed, better than vincent could do.....well nearly All in all gets a from me.
  6. Have you made it the same length (same number of links) as your previous chain? if so there shouldnt be a problem. If it is still a problem then you might have to get a half link, shadow conspiricy is the only make i can think of off the top of my head....i have a feeling KMC might actually make one themselves
  7. My expensive park one doesnt fit my KHE collapse... If you get a really cheap one, like the crappest one you can find then the manufacturing tolerence will in theory be less precise and therefore will probable be a less snug fit i.e. looser. So maybe just get a completely crappy one.
  8. You can side hop 5 foot??? That bigger than the world record
  9. Why the hell are you spending money for the sake of it? If you yourself dont know what you want, then how will we? Why not save it for when you actually need it, or find something that you actually want to buy rather than taking suggestions from people who have never ridden your bike? Just seems a bit silly really
  10. I am about 5' 7" and i happily ride a Czar Ivan with a 1100 wheel base. I control it well and here are a couple of pictures to show you what i mean by well... Taking off for gap Mid air Small Tap As you can see (i hope) i am not struggling with the length. However, dont forget that BB rise makes long frames feel shorter because the distance between the bars and the bb is less. For example, my bike feels shorter than my friends XTP even though they are very similar length wheel base. So to conclude, you should be tall enough to handle a long bike

    Olympics

Yeah it does sound like a good idea but.... I dont like the idea of it becoming a "common" sport. I like that we all kind of belong to a group who understand the sport and each other, its a bit special. Whereas if it became an olympic there is a chance it will turn into a sport where every tom dick and harry has a trials bike and most of them will be sh*t, and it will take focus off what a specialist sport it is..... Anyone else argee?
  12. I have seen a few hope tiral rotors break like that. I think it is because they aren't strong enough to take the stress of trials. So basically it is a design fault, and hope are responsible to replace it under warrenty
  13. Ha thanks, it has taken years of training to keep my face looking normal wen i ride.... hey i have an idea, They should make masks to wear when riding that look like normal faces, so then we could pull whatever faces we want without looking silly or not! lol As for the bike, i am loving it. i was quite weary about getting the high bb, but it works for me. and my gaps are back to their previous standard, maybe better. the posts aren't worthless - they make me feel good about my riding Thanks mate Well they are meant to be blurred... honest! Nah, to be honest you are right, but i am pleased with them all the same. Cheers for all the comments by the way.
  14. Yeah, i like that one especially, thats why i put it up, even though it isn't huge riding or anything.
  15. You are getting too good man! Sh*t me that was a cool video, nice editing and amazing riding... u are beggining to turn in to a bit of a hermance
  16. Here are a few pictures of me riding my Czar. I have had i for about 2 months now and i am loving it. The pics are good quality (large size). Here are the links, tell me what you think. De-constructive critasism aswell as constructive critasism is welcome Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 Picture 5 There you go, enjoy!
  17. Doesn't mean they are tight He might be right you know. If we are talking a matter of a couple of milimeters then it could be the rim moving slightly from side to side (cos of not tight enough spokes). If not that then maybe it is your hub bearings coming loose?
  18. YOU CAN ALSO TYPE IN lower case if you prefer, and you will be doing yourself a favour. As for the disc, Hope mono trial is the best (not everyone will agree, but a lot will). Don't get the Hope try-all though unless you have koxx forks. It is exactly the same disc, just designed to go with the differently spaced mounts on the koxx forks. Mono trial (Click me!) with a 160 rotor is ideal for a mod, or if you really are after some scary power go for the 180 rotor.
  19. Statisticall yesterday (and this time of year in general) is the most depressing time of year, so maybe there is a reason why everyone is moody... Also, no it isnt in the slightest bit funny, but u are at least trying to lighten things up.
  20. Hi there, I used the search but i couldn't find what i was looking for so here goes. I am after a single half link to go in my KHE collapse chain (1/8"). I have found a couple on the internet, but very little information on them. So what i am asking for is the definative link for strength. Please only answer if you know, dont guess. Also please dont suggest a new chain or anything, i only want 1 link, and if you could put a link to a shop, please make sure it is a UK shop 'cos i would like to keep ordering simple. Thanks, Phil
  21. It is a good point, i haven't heard from him in a while. i want to ride with him again soon. i think the last time i saw him was back in october And the crap about him promoting TB is crap. i shop there cos i know it is brilliant service and they are both incredibly knowlegable about what they are selling Pity the little shits on this forum drove away such knowlegable person....
  22. Ha ha! the heat from the friction of your grinder would set the thing on fire... And within a matter of seconds your rim would disintergrate at a temperature similar to that of the surface of the sun On topic though, looks like they make an aluminium one aswell, maybe you will have to be the guinea pig on this one and let us know
  23. I am suprised no-one has mentioned the orange zero - my favourite bike of all time equal with the the koxx levelboss 26" (old style of course). Both pinnacles of the trials revolutionary world.
  24. Adam and dave at tarty bikes..... actually manage to keep their website updated, which is more than can be said for ALL other shops.
