Have you tried de-ionised or distilled water? I'd imagine if you flushed your system fully of contaminants and then bled with that stuff your seals would keep for a fair bit longer than if you used tap water. Oh, and for anyone thinking of it, mercury won't freeze until it drops to -38.72c, so solid brakes won't be something you need to worry about in this country (unless the freak weather continues )

Sounds like you're getting a bit desperate to sell I don't mean to hijack the thread, but it's exactly the question I was going to ask. I want one with a seat and 24" wheels as I'd be riding more street than actual trials. As I'm new round here, does anyone know of an established "top-3 (or 5)" list of best options for around £2-300? Hi all, I'm Dave from (near) Blackpool. I've been in to mountain biking for a good few years now but there's not a lot of really local riding spots and trials/street riding looks like it could be a good alternative for when I get the urge to ride but haven't got the time to drive anywhere. I'll be hanging around reading tips and advice and looking to buy myself a bike once I've moved house in a month. Really looking forward to getting into the sport (and a new bike to play with!)
