steve...it was partly jon's (shrews') advice and somethin i worked out when i got my frame. the front end would be way too low without muchos spacers. the 24inch wheel drops the front end by an inch so i have 2 x 10mm spacers and a 5mm making an inch. i used to have about 10mm spacers so it's actually still a bit lower. can always play about with it if you leave it too long but once you shorten it..you can't change it! thats wat i thought sorry jon... :D one rider is all we can afford. would be nice to have a riding buddy though :) blue and green should never be seen :) lol nah. howies have stopped making stickers they said a while ago (or they just don't send me any!!) so i don't have any to put on. can't say i'm too bothered though :)"

I'm pretty sure the wheelbase is about 1025 and my biggest tap it at least half that :)

I have a KMC thin chain (off supercycles..it's to be run with gears) How do I go about joining it? I have got these connecter links..so I shorten it then put these on to join it? Or can i do away with these and join it at a male/female end with black pins that are already in there? Wanna know which is the more common / stronger way of doing it cos I don't wanna end up with a dodgy chain. Cheers Boon(e)

Lol yeh..on the 2nd pic up from the bottom there is a grind plate there but the light/paint/angle hides it a bit. Haha I hate all the graphics on the seattube too i'm ditchin em right away. Just had it like that for photos for the site "

Hello Just got this today..sorry it's not very helpful and just looks like a standard frame  The first 24 inch trials frame from Curtis, my sig model etc etc. MTB back end, LH grind plate, Canti bosses. Here are a few quick pics of it Haven't quite got the bits to build it yet (wheels arrive tomorrow) but I should have it up together by the end of the week so i'll bust some pics out then Thought you might wanna see it anyway  Goodo Matt Curtis

hey guys i picked up my forks from dan on saturday on the bristol ride. i thought i would post my review of them because you might wanna hear about them. i've had these for at least a day, and i've had them in my room looking - and i have to say they seem really stiff!! i've set my disc brake on them and pushed them around my floor with a wheel in..they aint going nowhere. i reckon you'll get a good years use out of them easy, for the harshest of riders all in all, great forks 11/10 :)

tank size = 43 litres (9 gallons) cost to fill = about £33 miles per tank = 245 90% of which was at motorway cruising speed of 100mph miles per gallon = 27 i had the same problem as u prawn mate. i just worked that out on the weekend cos i drove up north and on the way up i thought the petrol was goin down uber fast. so i reset the counter and got 245 out of my tank. seems 27mpg isn't too bad for a 1200 clio :("
