2 words that work in every situation: Man Up STI's are just like Scout's badges anyway, aren't they?

What the f**k is going on So many young people losing their lives this summer it's tragic. Yet again, RIP

What about what the other end of the barblade is used for..taking the plugs or optics out of spirits bottles when they're wedged in. You can't do that with a bottle opener...

I agree Steve, it's lack of effort. It's riders who want to get videos up onto the forum as quickly as possible to show off their new 45 inch sidehop, which compromises the video's quality (editing and riding) Riders (a large chunk) don't take enough time to film each video they make - don't make sure everything is well framed, composed and looks as good as it could. Hell people put enough on/offs or blagged gap clips in videos these days. And that's the same for filming lines, no one bothers. People put in their biggest sidehop which they're stretching to land. Take a couple of weeks longer to film the video and they'll be (or could be) landing it more comfortably and could link it together with something else without worrying about f**king up a decent move. Things which kill all videos most are a. ) Most clips from big rides, with 50 riders in the background. It looks shit and it distracts from the quality. b. ) People going "YEAH" or whatever after every clip, and leaving the sound in. It's ok now and again, but not all the time. If I'm filming I'm well picky about smoothness (probably cos I can't do anything big) and each move has to be pretty much perfect before I'll want it in a video. I don't even like bags, bikes or people in the background of clips cos its distracting. Which Rowan hates cos he has to film. But he's the same when he's riding and I'm filming - which I don't mind at all. So maybe it's finding a decent filming buddy who's willing to spend some time and not just go "yeah..that'll do"

A family business? Don't make me laugh. Onza is a brand which sells bikes all over the world. It's not over investment, it's investment (or should be) in a quality product which will more than pay for itself in the long run and represent the brand as well as it possibly can. Improvement? Average isn't good enough, or shouldn't be. Otherwise, a year (or 5 if you remember the old website) down the line when the website needs updating and looks dated, you'll have to invest MORE money and MORE time than if you just addressed the real problem in the first place.

Hey all I'm currently working for howies, a low impact clothing company based in Cardigan, Wales. We’re creating a micro site to compliment our Autumn 08 cataogue and we need some help. We hope to include a feature where users can upload their own content such as text, photos and possibly audio/video under certain themes relating to Teenage life (as we became Teenagers in July.) Content uploaded for each theme (e.g. family, love, friends) also needs to be tagged with other words relating to that theme in order to build up links between themes, kind of like a tag cloud. This is where you come in. We need somebody to help design and implement the dynamic elements of the website so you the user can put something back into the site itself. So if you’re a PHP guru and fancy possibly working with us, please get in touch. The website is planned to launch at the end of August so we're looking to act fairly swiftly. Cheers Matt.

Perhaps you're right. For everyone that uses this forum, seeing pictures and spec information of the very latest high end products in detail is what we care about. Team news, media and stuff like that is the most important. You've gotta look at the bigger picture though. Onza seem to be putting a lot of effort into their range at the lower end of the market. What about parents buying bikes for their children or looking into something which might be a fairly new concept when a 12 year old says "I want a Trials bike." Are they going to be more taken in and more willing to buy for their kids from a brand which has a very poor website or an excellent one? (Not saying Onza is either of those.) Average isn't good enough in my eyes.

Had a look, it's a better than the Squegg one but it's still living in the past. It's not a slight at you or your ability Joe but you shouldn't just read what people put on here and alter it to keep them happy. As has been said, you need to approach a reputable company who knows exactly what they're doing, what's up to date and what will stand the test of time. In the long run, it's WORTH spending thousands on a bespoke solution that will fit the Onza brand and allow you to update it when your product range changes, whilst still keeping it an attractive website. A decent company will be able to do that easily. As has been shown by this Thread, your web presence represents is the WHOLE Onza brand and people expect quality otherwise you're going to get slated. Unless you address the real issue you're going to be back to square 1 and will have a site that becomes outdated very quickly and cannot represent Onza as well as it could.

He isn't dead. He was there watching Kevin Robinson when he did it, and Kevin rides for Hoffman. Maybe they meant he was technically 'dead' because on one of his high air attempts he crashed so hard and got so f**ked up that he flatlined and his heart stopped beating. Then was reresussitated, and is still riding today.

The earth isn't flat. I rode down a hill on my way to work this morning.

Apparently his banger over the ski jump is called 'the Landmine'? 360 no-handed backflip!

http://bmx.transworld.net/2008/08/01/big-a...deo-x-games-14/ I like how they stack it from like 15 feet and make it look like they're falling off a kerb!

I don't think it's too hard (even though I passed 3rd time..but I do think I'm a better driver because of it) But I think it sucks that you only get judged on what you do WRONG, and not what you do right or above what's required to pass.

White Curtis one?! I can't believe that means I've been riding for Curtis for like, 6 years I've lost all my older videos

Christ, was my one really 2005. Time ago. Dan Jones and GET3 are epic videos. Legendary!

Go steady lad! Chain snap and you're a gonner

You're not though really. It's like a drving test, you only get penalties for things you do wrong. You gain no extra points for anything you do well in or do differently.

Too restricting. Too many rad dads and tantrums. Can't do any manuals in a comp either, they're pretty much my favourite thing ever. Bring back the Bike Battle, allow for more creativity. But then you've got the issue of judging. It works in other forms of riding though!

Naaah they're Identiti forks with the mounts hacked off. Was BRG ages ago..but has been this colour the last couple of years. Looked good but was a bit faded and dull so had a respray.
