  1. The giant mph is completely useless, in fact one of the weakest brakes I ever tried! Don't know the onza but my guess is that it is better......
  2. Hi guys it is a lovely day, me and Martin are going to sandbanks at 12:30 ish. Riding the usual spots for a couple of hours, hope to see some of you there! /Magnus
  3. Hi buddy, Did you try bleeding them? Are the pads completely worn down? If you can pull the lever all the way to the bars no matter how it is adjusted it sounds like you got air in the system. check youtube for bleed procedure if you don't know it allready.. Good luck
  4. cheers

guys for letting me know! I'm in sweden at the moment but when I come back I'm defenatly up for some riding! I'll be back next sunday evening....

  5. Cool me, karl and martin are most likely joining in. We just need to sort martins brake!
  6. Did you damage just the pedal or the crank aswell? If the crank is ok you can buy any platform or caged pedal that you like just decide on how much you like to spend. Now I use DMR V8 because they where on the bike i bought, not brilliant bearings, not the lightest but good grip and ok price... I have used expedo, alot fancier but also much more expensive... have a look at www.tartybikes.co.uk/platform_pedals/c23.html www.chainreactioncycles.com/Categories.aspx?CategoryID=209&SortBy=SalesRank
  7. thanks for leting me know I'll give it a couple of more days then i'll go for another bike
  8. Hi sorry to bother you all with such a boring topic.... I'm trying to buy Nathans bike and I just realised has hardly been on here since he posted the add. I tried to buy it last year aswell but then it took too long for him to respond so I unforunatly bought another bike before he finally texted me... It is sort of the same situation again I'm out of bike and desperate to ride so I can't wait that long please if you guys have his facebook, phone nr or any thing that could help me get in touch please pm me with details in case Nathan doesn't want everyone to know... Cheers/ Magnus
  9. Hi, I also recomend you singlespeed with tensioner. Any way have a look at this link it tells you how to service almost everything on a bike, just click on the bike at the part you are interested in (derailleur) and go to the right heading (rear derailleur adjustment) after that. It tells you all about how to set up the derailleur. Good luck http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help

  19. Hi, I have a Kabuki mono with some nice extras, what I wnat to do now is to find a new stem and bars for it. At the moment it is a cut bbb riserbar and the stem is 110 10 degrees and a whole bunch of spacers 4cm in total which is not ideal. The best would be not to have any spacer or maby one spacer at maximum but having roughly the same handlebar hight and length as the setup I'm currently running, I don't think it would matter if the length would be a bit shorter. The bike has massive wheelbase and I'm about 183 cm tall.... Any imput or suggestions would be greatly appriciated Thanks /Magnus
  20. True, good idea I'll keep my eyes open!! Still havent decided on a bike yet
  21. Thanks guys! I will be buying secondhand, I want to use as much as possible from that without buying new things. I guess it is possible to just get another lever for the disc brake then
  22. Hi everyone I have a quick question! I'm Swedish and have been riding with the brakes on the other way around (MTB for 20 years) I can't ride English style. I'm about to buy a trials bike with rear maggie and preferably a front disc, I know I might not be able to swap the disc one due to the reservoir depending on model. How are the magigies like can i just swich over? Do you have any good ideas to solv the problem, do i have to buy new levers and stuff?? Thanks /Magnus
  23. Thanks that's perfect, I don't think I will afford anything newer than this
  24. Hi Just a quick one to complement my other thread about buying second hand bikes. Are there any good websites that has rewievs on bikes and other trials related gear? It would be awsome to be able to study and read up on things before buying and also I don't have to bother all you people with milions of questions It doesn't matter if the sites are old I mainly look at older bikes. It is fun to see what has developed over the years! Thanks!!
  25. Hi

I live in Bournemouth since a year and a half because I go to AECC to become a chiropractor. It's a nice place.

I have been cycling crosscountry mtb for 20years borth compeditive and for fun. I have always liked freeriding and street trials etc. recently I discovered that my jumpbike had to weak brakes, so I now look for a stock trials bike near bournemouth.
