  1. Im currently studying business management and was looking for some help. Ive been given an assignment to create a marketing communications plan, this basically means to come up with some advertising proposals. I have chosen biketrials as my subject matter as it interest me! Basically I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how we could progress our sport. A good example within the cycling industry would be Kona and the africabike scheme, Kona bike Town. So if you people have any ideas that could be used to promote trials that would be great. Could be anything from say the kona idea to just focusing on what the sport means to us. Sorry if this doesnt make much sense... its quite hard to put into words. Cheers for any feedback, Tom
  2. Hi guys, if you remember in MBUK ages ago they featured a school with dirt jumps in the fields, if anyone knows the name of the school I will give them a massive hug, its for a college adventure tourism project. Thanks! Tom
  3. I personally have found that my body has adapted to the rigour of trials. You can avoid most injuries by wearing shinpads, gloves and a helmet. Warming up, cooling down and stretching also plays a key role. I used to have really sore shoulders before doing this. For me, trials has developed my lats and triceps. Although, I did go for a quick ride in my garden without gloves and caught my little finger on a tree branch and my nail is now black lol. cheers, tom
  4. Black spokes are weaker, go for stainless ones, not straight gauge... butted spokes flex and are less likely to snap at the head . cheers. Where did you find one btw?
  5. You could do as you would have the chain applying tension to one side and the disk to the other. Go to megamo. On www.megamo.co.uk it looks like the original equips had 3x on both side? I love that bike btw.
  6. Ive used to ride the megamo radical until I grew to tall... i prefer a longer frame. I weigh about 13.5 stone and rode street a lot, it held up fine with no dents etc. so i would say pretty strong! ps. radical is same frame minus disk mount
  7. Perhaps not the best idea to slag off forum users? Most of would be potential customers?
