  3. I have a monty 219 alp. Im pretty sure i have done the nuts up as tight as they will go.
  4. Hi I have just put on my new creepy crawler tyres and when i got the rear wheel back on, it was wobbly. How do i fix this? Thanks
  5. Thanks man. Im 16 years old by the way. About 5ft 9inches. But yeah i guess youre right about just riding. I need to ride in different places a lot i think, so i have experience of different situations/surroundings. Think Im going to start going into Dunfermline or Perth or Edinburgh. Thanks for the advice though
  6. Ok in that case, what do you think i should be working on? I can pedal kick reasonabley confidently but dont really know what to practice/learn Thanks
  7. Hi I am having trouble pedal kicking up things that are over about a foot high. Are there any tips that could help me get higher? Thanks
  8. hey i really need a new tyre now and dont know if the Try All sticky is any good. if someone could tell me how long it is likely to last before i need to replace it, i will go for it. if not, i will go for front and rear maxxis creepy crawler. is that a better choice or are there better ones? thanks
  9. Ok thanks. But i really want to know how long a try all fron tyre will last. If tey last reasonabley long, i will go for them and a rear maxxis. If they dont last long at all, i will go dual maxxis i think. So does anyone know about wear life of try all tyre? Thanks a lot.
  10. ok thanks, you know anything about try all front? wear life etc? thanks
  11. i was thinking front try all and rear maxxis creepy crawler, but if try all wear out too fast, i will probably change my mind. anyone know anything about wear life of the tyres? Thanks
  12. Hey One of my mates has a Rockman Slate 2 frame (£449 from tartybikes) and it is proper good. feels great, especially on the back wheel. I would honestly go for that over the onza and zoo mate. At least consider it. Good luck.
  13. Anyone have an idea of how long it would take to wear out monty eagle claw/maxxis creepy crawler/try all stiky? Thanks for the replies aswell.
  14. Hi. Im hoping to order new tyres today for my monty 219 Alp im upgrading. Im not too sure which are best/which wear fastest/which are most grippy. Can anyone help or give me suggestions about front 20" and rear 19" tyres? Thanks
  15. Hi. Something at the front of my bike. Its not forks, not wheel, so i think it is the headset. Anyone give advice on how to sort a loose headset? Step by step instructions would be great. Thanks
  16. You got any idea how to loosen the pads so i can fit the rotor between them? Thanks
  17. Hey I took my front wheel off to get my bike in the car, and cant get it back on. The disc brake pads are too close together for the disc rotor to fit between them. How do i get my front wheel on? Thanks
  18. Right Thanks a lot. Im gonna go for monty eagle claw front and rear, as they are a good price and lightweight. Also, youve told me they last for a long time so, its a win win win situation!
  19. Hey I really want to be able to sidehop higher and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to do that. (i know pedal kicking gets you higher but not too sure how to do it ) I have a monty 219 alp mod bike. Thanks
  20. Hey Im looking for a new freewheel aswell. Whats wrong with the rockman freewheel exactly? If lots of people can tell me why its bad, i will go for the echo sl. Cheers
  21. Yeah i know what you mean. Ive been riding about 8 months, but Im not a rough rider at all. I know as I get better I will try more rough stuff, but i could always get a downtube protector. (My mate just bought a rockman slate 2 for his 26" bike, costing £450, and he's been riding as long as me ) Im in the process of upgrading my bike to make it much lighter and stronger and a frame is a vital part which can make the bike stronger and lighter. Thanks for the advice though
  22. Hey Thanks for all your help. I think I'm gonna go for the echo lite 09, i just prefer it to the zoo lynx. I will be able to afford it in the next 2/3 months. I think it is the best frame on tartybikes as it is a reasonable price for the weight it is. Cheers
  23. Great! I was hoping someone would like it, cos thats the one i love, also zoo lynx. Thanks
