  2. Hey I have bought myself a Hayes Stroker Ryde hydraulic disc brake brand new off my mate for only £15! But, I'm not too sure if it will fot on my bike. I know i need new forks (which im ordering today, echo urban) and a new hub (i have justordered a whole new wheel) Does a disc brake have to be trials specific to fit on your trials bike? or can it be any disc? Could i get a bit of help please! cheers
  3. So you think the Rockman freewheel is ok to get? because it is the same as echo sl just a tenner cheaper? Any comments?
  4. Ok thanks a lot mate I was just about to contact Tarty Bikes and ask them if it qualifies for a price match. Do you know if the 2007 echo urbans are worse/better than 2009 ones? Cheers
  5. Ohhh yeah, thanks for that mate, i forgot there. Thanks
  6. Hey I am going to order new forks, and they are cheaper on SelectBikes than on TartyBikes. (they are Echo Urban forks) Should i order from Select or Tarty? Thanks
  7. Right I THINK i've decided on getting Echo Urbans, even though they look slightly strange on a bike, because they are straight. Does ANYBODY have something to say about Neon forks, something good. Because if they are as good as Echo urban then i would prefer to get them, as they look better. Thanks.
  8. Or should I get the forks from Tarty? Thanks
  9. OK I'm gonna go for echo urban By the way, is SelectBikes any good to buy stuff from?
  10. Just before i order the urbans, has anyone got anything to say about either neon conquer or neon curved blade? Thanks
  11. sorry i dont know the weight of the onza forks, urbans are about 750 though. thanks. Im gonna go for urbans i think
  12. Cool, I need to ask: Does the shape of the echo urbans not put you off? How did you crack them? And what exactly is wrong with echo sl? Thanks
  13. could i ask why exactly you say that? Thanks for the reply mate
  14. On TartyBikes, the Rockman freewheel has the same spec. as the echo sl, but is over £10 cheaper. What is wrong with getting the Rockman? Thanks
  15. Hey I'm having real trouble choosing between these 2 forks, and I need to get some this week so i can fit my disc brake on. Please can someone give me advice as to which one is the better bet? (consider weight, strength, etc etc) Thanks.
  16. :L great I'm getting it thatnks a lot for all your comments
  17. hahahahahahahahahaha thanks for that mate Really sorry for wanting to make sure i get the right forks. 900g is a lot for 20" forks And if you havent tried any of these forks, how can you preach to me about how some are better than others? Right sorry, i've just looked at echo urban again and i think they are actually good so i think i'll go for them thanks for being hard on me, its worked thanks for all the help lads (Y) (Y)
  18. well i think both frame seem similar, and i prefer the echo one because it looks o good on the echo lite 09 bike, and thats what my bike will look like when i'm done. All i wanted was for someone to tell me that its a good frame and that it wont snap in the first week i use it
  19. Hey. Thanks for the comments The huge problem for me is, many people have told me that the echo sl forks snap easily, and that has really put me off. Thats why iU've been looking at alternatives. i Dont want to go too heavy but i dont want to get rubbish forks, so i have to find the right balance. Do you see where I'm coming from? Can you help? Thanks for everything
  20. Right heres the deal. I have been riding almost a year, and I have decided that i want to upgrade my parts as I have imporved loads since i started from scratch. I will be thinking about competitions soon enough. The thing is, I dont want to buy parts that i will have to replace within half a year, because i dont get money that often (£15 a week from a local paper round) I just want to make sure i get quality parts NOW so i dont have to change them in the future. But thanks for asking because i was going on about the neon forks, only because to me they seem light, strong and a reasonable price Cheers
  21. Right I'll bear that in mind, thanks mate
  22. Hey Duncan! I would love to come up to Inverness but I've just really started trials riding so you won't want to ride with me Do you remember being at Glenfarg when you did the stunt show in June? I was there with my 2 mates on trials bike, Monty 219 Alp, and my mates had a Mad Phase 1.1 and a Syyrogyra. I would be extremely grateful if you would give me a bit of advice on frame and forks? I was looking at either Echo lite 09 frame or Zoo Lynx. which is a better choice? And I am totally stuck for new forks, you got any suggestions? Would be great if you could help :$ Thanks mate
  23. Hey Thanks for the link. The only problem I'm having with the Lites is the weight. I know they are about 500grams lighter than my Monty forks i have just now, but if i can, i would like to get lighter ones Out of interest, why shouldn't I order from Trials-Uk? Cheers
  24. Right thanks a lot I myself like the zoo frame, as it seems to be like smaller and more agile compared to the echo. On the other hand, I have seen the echo lite 09 frame on the echo lite 09 bike, and it looks amazing. I really do not know which to choose Is there any other opinions that i could possibly get that would help me make he decision? Thanks loads for the replies so far....
