+1 Also i have had slicks on mod and stock , theyre less grippy , weigh less theyre alot more bouncy and unstable , they look 'cool' Its up to you to be honest , I enjoy riding slicks to be honest you roll longer and its harder to control on your rear wheel . Dont sand it wont do anything , Put in on a wheel pump it up hard and carefully cut with a stanley or sharp knife . You could angle grind it if you dont mind smoke ha .

I reckon you wont find a good pair of these anymore... You could sand the brand off your tyre the use tipex or nail varnish and paint a white line , Or in some car/hardware stores they sell big pots of tyre paint . Hope i helped a little , David.

Okay this is starting to hit on me in real life this dream :L i think im going crazy . tell me if anybody has had this dream , iv been having it on/off for years. Well i would recomend either a ZOO! pirahna or a onza T-rex , you will definately need to try out a couple of frames/bikes . In my opinion if this is your first bike you may want to look at Mod 20inch bikes as theyre easier to learn on been as theyre smaller and easier to throw around . Youre looking at frames you like the look of not the feel of so go and try different frames out like long , short , low bb , high bb etc theyre lots of options and it doesnt always mean looks ... Sounds to me like you have your tpa wound up to full and a rubbish brake set up ... Try winding the tpa all of the way out so the lever blade can nearly touch your bar/grip , Then loosen off the calipers and set the brake pads up square to the rim about 2/3mm away from touching but make sure it doesn't rub . You might want to adjust your tpa in but you should really only use the tpa as back up . If that doesnt work try re-bleeding your brake , there might be air in it or you have a leak somewhere , then do ^ again . Hope i have helped , David.

By cutting those knobbles off his tyres he saves weight and makes the tyre more grippey on the edges of obstacles and also looks better in my opinion . David.

Thanks guys , Well im used to Hayling Island which is probably the safest island going to be honest , i have to travel around a 100 miles to get to my nan , she lives near Birmingham i think the place where she lives is sparkhill . She lives in a small block of flats that most of these thugs are in most days so i just have to 'thread the needle' and time it right , i dont look asif i am a target i dont think i do anyway . The sock idea is very good thank you i shall be using that now I am 6ft 4 and i look pretty intimidating sometimes but these asian gngs are pretty much fearless in my terms and i think its a case of power in numbers too i will see how it goes next week anyway guys Thanks a lot for your input so far , David.

Hey all I am temporarily moving to care for a family member in a very rough area where there are asian gangs around who will just mug/rob things and people . i have been robbed before and i have no confidence towards these gangs anymore . The police are patroling after 8pm but there is never enough to enforce anthing to the mass number of asians . I lock up my commuter bike in a shed with a motorbike lock which is pretty safe but i always seem to find myself speeding up and going as fast as i can just to keep safe from them , i have seem people get kicked off their bikes , i just seem to think its inevitable that it will happen to me whilst im staying there , do you have any advice to help me stay safe? Also as there is a corner shop about 800yards down from where i will be staying , i will have to walk there to go and get the shopping as i cant really leave my nan for too long as she needs my help , i am scared to go out incase i get mugged or stabbed , how can i be safe guys ? Ahh yeah i am not really a starter to be honest , i used to ride a x-lite back in the day but changed to 26 street been as i had nowhere and nobody to ride with so iv missed out on all the new happenings . Cool thank you man What would you say is the medium range brand out there at the moment ? i read about 'Deng' and how they're multiple brands but what is the difference between ? -Koxx -Trial Tech -Tensile -Hope -Revell Most of their parts look resonable but is it worth spending more money for parts like 'Koxx' or do they have different purposes ? like parts for 'rocky' places and parts for 'walls' ? Hey everybody Im david , I would like a ZOO pirahna 09 soon but i was just wondering what they are like ? pro's and con's ? Also please could you recommend some nice quality parts that will last so when i build my bike it will be reliable At the moment i only have a rough idea about 'trial' bikes and i will be building my bike from scratch , i have no budget but i would like to know all the strongest/new parts you recommend as i do not know . i used the search app to find out abit on ZOO and they seem to be pretty much bomb proof but i would like some opinions from people who have the frame etc Tank you in advance, David
