I haven't really got much money atm, litterally just put my WoW account up for sale, should be between £150-200 which should fun a dual disk set up, I've always hated rim brakes to be honest.

Forgot to mention it has a 2bolt booster on. Also, for some reason the previous owner had 1 echo slave and one maggy slave? Would this have anything to do with it?

Heya guys, Rear Echo Urban with a fairly dead grind and phat pads in plastic backings. The brake was never any good so I tried applying a small amount of tar and it still slips, despite having a tonne more bite. It's got so bad that I can pedal kick up a hill and still slide forwards. When I get my new spokes tomorrow / Tues I'm going to build up a Kris Holms rim instead and give it a fresh grind to see if it improves the brake. Anything else I could try?

I know it's only about 25ml but wasting vodka is a sin :l

I know this doesnt answer your question but if you're lucky enough to have vee mounts then use them

Heya guys, I've done a search on these rims but most of the stuff seems to be from either 06/07 and i'm not 100% sure it's still decent advice (seeing as rims change slightly in design etc) Anyone got a newish KH rim? Are they any good? Edit* Atm I'm using an 07 urban rim on an Onza T-Master Sealed Rear Hub and I'd like to re-use the spokes (I know not advisable blabla) Just wondering what the spoke length's are for both my current set up and what will hopefully be the new set up (Kh rim, t-master hub)

It was only the original Echo brakes that leaked. I've tried both a maggy and an echo set up and I prefered the echo (don't forget it was different rim / pads / frame etc, it affects the feel a lot)

Isn't this the point though? He's saying he has the frame in question and it rides well, it's no point someone who doesn't have the frame but has ridden one for 5minutes to say its crap/good when obviously their opinion is invalid.

I'm about 60kg ish and rode a silver sky a while back when I had no muscle, I know its a different frame but I've gotta say it was the nicest bike I've ever riden.

Hey guys, whilst setting up my front vee earlier I very stupidly stripped the bolt that tightens the spring. I'm thinking this is just going to be a new vee arm but I could be mistaken? Cheers.

I haven't ridden since about Feb (when I left trials) although I should hopefully be getting a bike tomorrow. I live in Crowthorne (between sandhurst, workingham and bracknell) and I'm only about 3stops from Reading Via train.

For your original post, BB means bottom bracket, ISIS is a type of bottom bracket and will affect which cranks you're able to put on. If you need help with things TrashZen have quite a few good tutorials and their FAQ section should be able to help you out.

For the guys that said to put tar on a grind, don't, that'll just make your brake worse.

I had a 2006 echo lite and if the current frames are built to the same standard i'd say its nearly indestructable.

Well I'm actually re entering the trials scene and I'm fairly confident with Geo. I was after a Silver Sky marino with disk and v mounts.
