  1. Hurry up and come to reading! Gotta ride together again before Radfest
  2. When were you down my way? Shame the pd barn is gone now
  3. Apart from the lever and mounts we have identical brake set ups gunna have a go at single walling my rims soon and I'll take the booster off at the same time
  4. I have an 04 Maggy with adm's and was wondering what your brake is like booster less? I'm finding my 2bolt a little stiff
  5. I went from 158's on my mod to 170's and they felt gash, everything was too light and any rolling move over a small crawling pace was near on impossible. Even now I'm on a 24 echo I'd still like to try 165's because of how light 18-14 feels.
  6. Each pad / rim / grind / frame / booster etc combo will perform differently and sound differently
  7. Because it's a sexy frame would love one myself but £400tops, f**k paying near enough £600
  8. I've never been on one but I've wanted one for a while, can't justify the price tag just because I want to go dual disc, if you have the cash to spend I'd say do it
  9. Same as my try-all so I'd think not. Thank you Adam! I was going to phone you on the off chance but didn't think you'd have one. Email coming your way
  10. Apparently because I've not been mannerly he won't help me out with the top cap situation. Apart from being a little bit grumpy (which I apologized for) when he posted it a day late and telling him I was slightly annoyed about the lack of top cap I hadn't been rude to him in the slightest, until of course I stated that he's f**ked me over a bit in this thread. No point opening a dispute because I need a stem to ride and I'd like to keep the K2, I just need a replacement topcap that isnt a ghetto bodge job.
  11. Used a file and bodged it, the top half of the topcap is inside the stem but the bottom half allows for compression. No ideal in the slightest but at least it's rideable
  12. Yeah those won't fit the K2 but thanks anyway Ash
  13. Yeah I have to pay to send the stem back + refund his postage if I want a refund. Absolute piss take. I've got a try-all 3d stem atm and the cap doesnt fit.
  14. Anyone know where I can buy one? Dave33 f**ked me over when buying his stem and I haven't found them for sale online. Anyone know?
  15. Wouldn't it be easier to use and faster to just use it like a normal screw driver with the tip filed down? Unless you're using really short spokes so need the leverage to tighten them enough to touch the tip.
  16. Decided to buy my ticket after a 4month break due to work. Got a new job with more sociable hours and I can't wait to ride again
  17. If it arrives damaged from any online shop based in the uk then just return it under the distance selling regulations (I think you have 28days to return the item, in original packaging with no marks on signs of use).
  18. Lower the weight and go ATG, this helped my balance issues plus it puts let's strain on your knees and will help with explosive power. Or try weight lifting shoes with a slight heel?
  19. Needs to have lights or reflectors, a seat and working brakes to ride on the roads and it's illegal to ride on the pavement. Pretty much no one cares about those laws though
  20. From the rust on the rotor, bolts and spokes and oxidisation on the frame(I think?) I assume this bike is kept outside or often exposed to wet conditions and could just be rust on the braking surface / mud on the pads?
  21. He hates people that says stocks aren't for shorties, the post you quoted says others have said a stock doesn't suit him yet he still rides one. Nothing to say he doesn't hate himself as well as the people that doubt him though
  22. Makes it a bit lighter and no less useful so go for it
