  1. Just bought a set of secondhand m810`s aswell. Seem to be in good condition from the pictures i've seen. Also thought this brakes supposed to be bombproof... I guess I just wait and see how they turn up..
  2. I don`t agree on the stairs comment. When you do it right it can take anything without jumping off, chainslap of whatever. I never had any problems with mine. Pretty happy with the tensioner on my current bike aswell only thing is the derailleur hanger seem to be made out of cardboard.
  3. Used to ride Nike 6.0 for years. Recently bought some cheap Etnies rvm online. Grip and stiffness is great but the shoe itself is quite small as I have wide feet. They seem to have bedded in after a couple of rides though. Bargain at € 25,-
  4. That`s a very good looking bike you`ve got there! What handlebar are you running?
  5. I`ve ordered a Marino last februari with the intention to build a new bike. Than came across a secondhand fourplay in mint condition and decided to buy that aswell The mk2 fourplay is already a big improvement over the mk1. But when my Marino arrives I will put all the parts of the fourplay on the Marino. Changed the saddle, handlebar, chain and pedals of the mk2 so far.
  6. Boiled 4x 15min with some sanding in between. After some bedding in, my brakes work great! I'm a happy man!
  7. All I can say is that i`m using holyrollers for years on my inspired and have no complains so far. I`m running 2 bar front and rear. Most of the 24 street/dirt tyres have thin sidewalls to keep the weight down, so yes you would need more pressure than you would on your mod.
  8. Boiling, sanding and now boil for the second time, we'll see.... Clean the disk with soap and hot water and give them a good rinse with clean water. Hope that it helps. I can heat up the pads in a flame if it doesn't... Otherwise i'll have to buy new pads I guess...
  9. Thanks Adam! I`ll see what I can do to get them back to life!
  10. I have cleaned the rotors with disc cleaner and cleaned/sanded the pads before riding. So maybe it needs some more time to bed it? Koolstop reds are sintered if I`m correct. Are organic pads much butter trial wise? To bad shimano doens`t make the saint m810 brake anymore. I would love a set of those.
  11. I bought a second hand fourplay the other day that came with the standard elixir brakes and new koolstop red pads. After a lot of sudden stops for beading in and 2 days of riding the brakes are still crap and loud! When I poor some water over them they nice and quiet en work great for a couple of minutes. So what to do? Be more patient or buy other pads?? And what do other riders use with their elixers?
  12. Also new element on the website! Looks cool in black! So new fourplay soon aswel??
  13. Knock in the caliper? Must be a fix for that right? I'm also considering slx for my streettrials bike. They seem to be a bit more powerfull than than the exilir's that came with my mate's fourplay. But how is the bite and hold, good enough for trials? And what rotor's to choose? Is 203mm overkill? Also, is there an advantage with icetech rotors over std slx ones?
  14. 36grams heavier than an inspired rim... Would not botter me to be honest
  15. What about Halo sas rims? They look decent and are also nice and wide. Never seen them on a trialbike though.
  16. I had an mk1 fourplay for the last 4 years. Compared to your archive my bike has a 45mm longer wheelbase so thats a big difference. So i would like a streety bike with a modern geo but still want to do backwheel stuff, gaps, sidehops.
  17. That looks awesome! Whats the geo on those archives? How is it for the more trialsy backwheel stuff? I'm really tempted to buy a marino aswel but i'm afraight it's to short(i'm 6,3ft)
  18. BUMP! New color, Inspired Team fork, seat, pedals, front brake Much better!
  19. I own an 09 fourplay and looking for a new frame for the upcomming years ) The Arcade is awesome but I don't want to spent a fortune one a new bike. So i'm thinking of buying a 2013 fourplay frame and maybe an inspired fork later on(currently running an echo urban fork). That way I can use my current parts and run a hs33 in the back. How different is the new fourplay compared to the first generation? Are there other options that i've overlooked?
  20. Good progress! Keep on riding, you will get better over time. Zoetermeer has plenty of good riding spots as well!
