  1. I'm guessing none of you have lived in Peckham.... you pull a knife, they pull a gun. It's ridiculous. Convince your Nan to move in with you!!
  2. Are you kidding? I think that frame is b-e-a-utiful!!
  3. Oh it doesn't bother me in the slightest, just wanted to make sure I hadn't damaged my drivetrain in any way really! I'm not going to lie, I would do that but just because I love the click-click-click of a freewheel! Haha!
  4. I ran an Avid vee with a booster on one of my old jump bikes and it was the nuts!
  5. the

    Modstock

    Hotrod trials bikes eh??
  6. http://www.armourtexltd.co.uk/cycles.html Got my Dad's bike powdered here for his birthday, beautiful job. Came to around £60 I think. That's the full process of rawwing right the way back up to glossing the frame. Beaut!
  7. I'm just shy of six foot and I ride a mod comfortably! Do you have any mates who ride trials who's bikes you can have a go on to get the feel of?
  8. Both the right and left Mag's come with the same size tube as standard, as in the USA their brake levers are the other way round! So the issue will be if the previous owner has trimmed/changed the tubes. Jump over to http://www.tartybikes.co.uk and have a look for new tubes there. They won't be expensive and any bike shop will be able to fix and re-bleed for you!
  9. Yep... but in theory it shouldn't move the peddles with it.
  10. My single speed road bike doesn't do it, neither does my 27spd mountain bike?
  11. My Onza does this, as does my DMR dirt jump bike. Does anyone have any idea why it does this? It doesn't do it all the time though. I noticed it when walking to the park with my girlfriend the other day and my peddle struck my calf! My Onza has a forward freewheel. It peddles smoothly and doesn't seem stiff anywhere, and the chain isn't over tensioned, (has about 5mm play in both directions at the tightest point). Not so much a problem, just a query. Has anyone else encountered this?
  12. I always find when it comes to bikes, "you get what you pay for". You want good components, you're gonna have to save up and pay for them I'm afraid!
  13. Industrial estates, Homebase, B&Q, Wicks... all of these sort of places get deliveries on crates all the time and then throw them out! Just have a drive around and have a look... if they look discarded by in good condition, pinch 'em!
  14. Easy, I'm Stu - 22. Live near Kingston in south London. Used to ride a bit of trials back when I was mad into dirt jumping, lost interest. Back interested now and I'm slowly learning it all over again! I ride an Onza T-Pro. I live my life wearing Rebel8 and OBEY. I listen to hardcore and metal. I blog.
  15. Onza T-Pro. It looks different now, I got rid of all the stickers etc, looks cleaner. Now has red cage peddles and fresh grips with red aluminium loc-on's.
  16. Actually quite humbling to see someone I consider the best muck up like that! Funny as tits though!!
