It works quite happily with other Laptops/phones ect, as for software, and I think the only internet related program is McAfee. Router wise, im not sure, all I know is that where it would say 'Connected' on a working connection, it just says 'limited access'... is that what you mean by 'how far does it get when connecting to the router'? It just seems bizarre that it worked fine the first night, then nothing next time it was turned on, not even through a wired connection. Tomorrow il try taking the laptop round to a mates house and see if it works there, then il try the fixed up address thing (Though god knows how you go about doing that )

That hasn't worked I just 'Diagnosed' the network connection status and it would appear to be a driver issue 'The wireless network adapter is experiencing problems' , so does that mean I need to find the driver online on my laptop, then stick it on a memory stick and install it on his laptop? (We've also tried plugging the laptop directly into the router via Ethernet to no avail)

My brother got his new laptop yesterday, and it quite happily connected and worked on the internet. However, today, it wont connect to the internet and says 'Limited access' on the list of connections (When the internet icon on the tool bar is clicked). We've tried resetting the router, but that's about as far as my computer aptitude goes... so what else can be done?

Think I might try to make the trip up for this, Leeds has always looked pretty mint to ride! For the parking, am I right in assuming I head to the Playhouse and il find some? (I've never been in / near Leeds and will more than likely be by myself so have no f******** clue where anything is) and would someone be kind enough to PM their number so I can make an SOS call when I end up hopelessly lost please!

I've not ridden for a good month or 2 and the belly is beginning to show it. Within that time I've got a car so now have a fairly free reign of places to go so fancy trying somewhere new! So, anyone riding anywhere this weekend?

The rear seats are going to remain well and truly in for this reason! ...and allows for more petrol money to skanked when giving lifts (I apologise in advance for the potentially very n00bie questions in the next few weeks whilst I work my way around the car) Noobie question number 1: My speakers are f**ked. As it stands, it is the original cassette/ radio head unit with the original 2x3.5" speakers, so nowt special. So, is replacing the speakers with ~£30 speakers (E.g. Alpines) going to be any better than getting ~£15 speakers, or is it the head unit that is the restrictive part? I'm obviously not expecting them to brilliant, just enough to be able to listen to music comfortably.

Picked up my first car tonight! Yes it's slow & handles like a boat... but its miiinneee & needs a decent clean + plastics restored to their former 'glory' I tried sticking my bike in the back earlier and it's a bit of a ballache, so would there be any reason why I couldn't get some cheapo roofbars and strap my bike (Upside down) directly to the bars?

Why couldn't the bike go any further? It was two tired.

I'm currently in the process of buying my first car (Deposit to be paid tomorrow then picking it up some time next week ) but what is the protocol for insurance and what not? When I sort insurance out beforehand for the year, what happens about the car not being in my name at that point? Is "The car WILL be in my name" enough for the insurance company? I can't seem to find a straight answer via Google...

With uni coming up I need to downsize my speakers from my current Phillips chav-esque things and have my eyes set on Harman Karden Soundsticks (Had a quick listen to my mates and was very impressed). If got them, id like to be able to leave my iPod in a dock such as this one: http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_1631wt_1270 , but is running my iPod through this first going to (Noticeably) affect sound quality? And would there be any difference between the Pure i-10 dock and a cheapo eBay type dock? Just bought the speakers & genuine Apple dock anyway
