well, I dunno if the Belays would be good on a smoth rim but don't listen to much on me, sins I've never tried them though I think that Echo TR pads could do the work!

For sidehop training, do highjump over a bar(with your bike ) then you can't hurt yourself if you make "a bad jump", you'll only crash in to the bar, and it will fall to the ground. And because of that, you can relax, so you can focus more on your tecnique ...I think

how do you guys clean your rims, and what do you use? my rim still got quite a nice grind on, but the sidewalls is so durty sins I've rided natty 4 days in a row now! and I thought that it would be better to clean it instead of grinding it, when it still has a useful grind on. I,ve tryed to clean it before, with different kinds of alcohol and medicinical petrol, it got clean, but there was no grip untill I reground it!

Hi, I have always used brake oil in my rear magura hs33, during my two years in this sport, but I'm thinking about going over to a water-antifreeze mix, partly because I'm so tired about the brake feels so slow and rubbish now when it's so daim cold here in sweden, so what do you think ? =)

looks quite nice I think jumping over a bar is the best sidehop training, because then you can't cheat with touching with your frontwheel = you learn to land with both wheels at the same time... I think try to stand on both wheels a litle longer and focus on the bar, instead of going direct up to backwheel and standing a long time = wasting so much energy
