Wtd... Advice On Bars + Stem
Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp) replied to mintsauce96's topic in Trials Chat
I wouldn't particularly recommend EA50 bars and stem, as I know Scott Pitcher has snapped both of them. The bars took quite a beating though, as they were third hand by the time Scotty snapped them. Try searching through chain reaction for stems, they usually have quite a range, if you can get something with 15-20% rise it may make things a bit more comfortable. Wouldn't recommend Megamo stems as its already been mentioned how painfull they are, try something from Echo or Onza instead. -
When I left 6th form I wanted to do something in engineering or mechanics, I ended up as an office administrator (Y) I dont know what I want to be, I never really have, erm, this posts not very useful, er, I think the point i'm making (badly) is that you dont neccessarily have to know what you want to do.

^What I would have said had several people not beaten me to it^

Yeah, if you gave some explanation of what the problem is people might be more inclined to help you, but that would involve actually putting some effort into your post :ermm:

The only way to find out is to take the BB out and inspect the threads, I wouldnt worry though, its extremely unlikely you damaged anything like that in just one day.

The only way not to scratch / dent your frame and stop the stickers fading (LMAO!) is to not ride it. If you ride your bike it will get scratched theres nothing that can be done about it, except maybe covering the whole thing in bubblewrap :P

"When it comes to alcohol, the legal age to drink or purchase beverages is 18. Children under the age of 14 aren't allowed in pubs or bars except in designated 'family rooms'. However, there are some exceptions to this. For example, if an accompanied child over the age of 16 is seated in a licensed restaurant they can sometimes be allowed limited quantities of alcohol with their meal. The law is very complicated in this area, so it is probably best to check with the proprietor of a restaurant or hotel to see what they allow."

Got college in the morning, work in the afternoon and 5-a-side footy on the evening, so i'll be completely sober and out of range of any pubs all day. Rrrrrrrrruuubbbish.

He asked for peoples opinions and they gave them. I cant see the point myself, hardly saved any weight and dosnt look any better. Drill + boredom = disaster. -
New Sites, Vids & Pics Rules/guidelines
Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp) replied to Simon's topic in Chit Chat
I dont think we really need guidelines, the only problem is with some threads being titled 'New Video' and having no description. If we're going to have a guideline it should be that thread titles for new video's must include the name of the video or a description of it that identifies it uniqely. -
Jelly Baby Movies
Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp) replied to Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp)'s topic in Chit Chat
Yeah, they dont actually move yet, its just an image. I'm not sure if there are any plans for moving clips, nag them by e-mail and maybe they'll sort it out. -
Hi, Jellyvision This is a site created by one of my colleages at work, its quite funny, Jelly Babies acting out scenes from movies. Check it out
-
Or you could just name threads sensibly so people could reply to them whenever they want.

I've got something called Xing media player, it has a function to do exactly that. I think i got it from download.com Whilst we are on the subject, does anyone know a decent program to convert from MP3 to WMA?

Whats You Favourite Type Of....
Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp) replied to rocktrials's topic in Chit Chat
Bah, its a decision between Banana's and Oranges but I just cant decide. Probably in more of an Oranges mood at the moment although I havnt eaten fruit for a while. -
It is still illegal its just that the police have been issued guidelines not to bother arresting people for possession and just to conviscate it instead.

Just like to point out that new member chat isn't there as punishment. Its just filtering out the tripe. Its not like he's actually posted anything wrong, it is a bit cheeky to by-pass the validating but it was only one post, calm down dear. EDIT: Having seen that there are replies in another thread too i'm actually in agreement with MrMonkey. Validating is there for a reason, if you havn't been validated yet be patient, it will happen.

Drive side rounded off :P I shouldn't have the powerpro on much longer but thanks for the offer.

Dont want to sound like a git but surely it cant be worth anyones while posting you a wheel and tyre and paying a tenner, which would come to about £15ish, when they could go to their local LBS and get an inner tube for £4? Would it not be better to sell latex goo and rim tape kits and post them out to us. Would be less expensive and would save you having loads of wheels turn up at your house, it surely cant be that hard to fit it?
-
Take note evreybody, anything with FSa and Powerpro writen on it shoudl be avioded, its just not worth it! Save up a bit more money adnd get somethig decent, its for your own good.
-
erm, how? There are camera's that face you and take a picture of you in the car so you can't claim it wasn't you driving I think. I've always thought the ones that flashed had to get you going away from them, the ones that point at you use infra red or something?
