I still undecided, the campaigning so far has been super rubbish. no ones even attempting to have an honest debate about the other parties policies, everytime theres a politition on the news they're trying to spread lies and give a false impression of the other parties and that really dosn't appeal to me at all. The only thing I do know is that I wont be voting Labour, honesty is an important factor so im not going to vote a group of proven liers into power. Not to mention the vast array of truely shocking policies they've been comming up with (ID Cards, House Arrest, Casino's, reforming the house of lords, EU constitution, postal voting, regional assemblies) The only thing the Conservatives really have to their credit is that they, and the Lib Dems, forced Blair to give us a vote on the EU constitution. I'm not really impressed by the way they're ranting on about immigration at the moment or the way they seem to think they can reduce tax and spent more(which is possible, but i highly doubt they will manage to do it). I will be voting Conservative or LibDem, but its hard to decide at the moment, im definatly voting though.

Don't know about you but it seems very rare for someone to snap a chain by landing on it? Don't really see whats so good about it, the rear triangles upside down which is ..er..worse. The chain tugs are a good idea though.

I've only seen it twice on ITV1 (Saturday night I think) one was a proper episode and the other was like a hightlights compilation. It was really good though, the fights are very entertaining, and as its only five rounds it dosnt go on and on like proper boxing (Y)

Don't really see the need for them myself. As i'm on 56k i'd have to turn sig's off if pic's were allowed. I don't really see how one extra picture is going to be all that good though.

This is an extreme example but have you seen the Supersize Me film. The guy was told by doctors that they were worried he would do serious irrepairable damage to his liver if he carried on as I remember. I know smoking does much more damage to you then eating rubbish will but it works on the same principle. If they started charging for smoking related illnesses it would only be a matter of time before they started charging for other problems. Some people find it easier to give up addictions then others, without actually experiencing what its like to be addicted to something how can you really know how easy it would be to give it up. I've never been addicted to anything, but I imagine it must be incredably hard to give up something like that. I don't think they should ban it from outside hospitals, I think its cruel for the following reason. A lot of smokers, rightly or wrongly, link smoking with stress relief. Going into hospital is a stressful experience and if someone feels the only way to cope with that stress is to smoke then I think they should have that option. I don't think they should be able to do it in the hospital or in doorways, but it wouldn't be at all difficult to provide some shelters for people to go to.

That doesn't effect whether or not they should receive free healthcare or not though. I think there are two main points I want to make here: 1) Smokers pay for the NHS just like everybody else does not to mention the huge amount of extra tax they pay which has already been mentioned. 2) You can't just single out smokers. If you eat high quantities of unhealthy food and later on in life get heart disease for example, under the kind of system that is being suggested, the NHS would simply turn round and say you knew the risks of what you were doing now cough up some cash or your not getting treated, which is wrong as the person affected would have been paying for the NHS (through tax) for the whole of their lives. Basically you either have an NHS which if free and fair to everyone or you dont have one at all because of how uber complicated things would get and the moral problems that arrise.

On that basis you could stop people receiving free care for all sorts of things though. Drinking, eating unhealthy food, playing dangerous sports....

Yeah they do, I found flexing the chain by hand way more effective though.

Think i'll hold you to that ;) 70% of people at least do speed, even if its only a little. I am never stuck behind someone doing 30mph (Unless its a learner) and I use my car every day.

No. Yes. It'll be dead easy, the most anoying bit is getting stiff links out, but a bit of link flexing usually sorts it out.

Surely if your taper is rounded you can tell just by looking at it? My crank was always comming loose because the taper was rounding. Everytime I tightened it it got a little bit worse until it was totally buggered. If yours is rounding phone middleburn and see if you can get a cheap replacement, they're usually pretty good with things like that. Other then that try giving the bolts and threads a really good clean and then locktiting them in. What lengh BB is it your running? Perhaps the taper is too steep so your crank isnt holding it properly and you need a longer one? (This used to be the problem with mine)

One of the best things about a vee is that its not a Magura :P Phythonrider I wouldnt recomend trying to bodge a vee onto your mods 4-bolt mounts (If thats what you're doing) its a bitch to do well and no one makes any proper good adapters (Y)

I will be there, i'll be riding a blue PX Zebdi. Not sure about the tyre question, i'm going to be running an awesome combo of nearly bald IRC Kujo and Notos, I expect slippage :unsure: I'm entering expert having riden inter last year, not sure how well i'm gonna do though, probably not very!

XT Levers Deore brakes Plaz pads I've been running the above set up for ages without any real problems. I've only had to adjust it recently because the pads are nearly worn out. Obviously the more you spend the better the performance will be but you can get a decent vee set up for under £40 easily. Mine rarely slips unless its wet (rain and plaz pads dont mix) its only failing to lock now because the pads are so worn.

If you hover the cursor over them it tells you. The top one means new posts, the bottom one means no new posts, not sure about the other one. EDIT: the middle one seems to mean new posts too, strange

It wouldn't have offended me and I doubt it would have offended that many people really. Everyone is so scared of offending other peope these days, its stupid. Where I work we're not allowed to send out company xmas cards that have santa on, raindeers on, christmas tree's, there only allowed to say 'seasons greetings' because it might offend some ethnic minorities :D
