  1. yeah i suppose im with you there the freewheels+hubs are pretty good, as for the frames i cant really say iv not had an echo frame since 2007 but the forks are pretty diabolical thesedays aswell :\
  2. i knew you where going to pull this card but i am admittedly a 'tgs basher' and im over 14 stone many parts dont last me long but all the trialtech stuff iv had has served me very well, all im saying is echo's gone abit shit from what it used to be thats all
  3. whats 30 grams over an extra 18 months of life ?
  4. trialtech seem to manage it, i had my magnesium's for about 2 years before i got rid of them
  5. echo has fallen to bits, remember the days when they did all the best parts
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFogupfFp8k
  7. scooping your feet back and upwards while hopping helps lift the front end up a little
  8. that was good, brakeless is very hard
  9. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAH, this topic is brilliant

    Sick..!

    staple diet of.....?
  12. thats probably why they break so easy come to think of it
  13. id love one of those bet its like best of both worlds, control and balance of a stock but still short and flicky like a mod, looks nice mate
  14. they vary, 'mid' is the usual size wich is larger than like a threaded bb, and 'spanish' is about the same size as a mtb bb
  15. was really looking forward to this but as usual the great british weather f**ks everything haha
  16. yeah you would have thought that would be the case but for some reason the bearings die a lot more often than in like a shell bb i think they're crap from personal experience
  17. yeah thats how to do it, i built a 28 hole rim onto a 32 hole hub about 3 years ago its fine to this day, its when you have missing spokes on the rim it gets bad
  18. if im honest i really dont see the point, my bmx uses the same kind of thing and iv gone through about 3 bb's in a year and iv had the same one on my trials for about 4 years, i think its just a way for manufacturers to keep costs down with the price of everything going up these days
  19. try using the tarty guide about grinding also keep the tyre on like ali said, what rim are you using because some rims have a slight angle on them you can barely even see it by eye but it just means your pads take a little longer to bed in squarely to the rim, other than that i really don't know if you say its all bled and set up right
  20. everyone just eat some ice and chill, were all mates here
  21. had this song in my head all day haha, too good
  22. when i went to stock from mod 3 years ago i started off with a stupidly low stem and zoo bars, and every time i lifted my front end it made my bike so much nicer to ride and everything felt easier, im running a mod stem on there at the moment lol, yours does sound quite high though i'd just leave it as is
