start trying them away from your lead foot now while your actually learning this move its gunna be a lot harder to break the habbit if your so used to doing it 'the wrong way', basically the benifit behind it is that when you travel towards your lead foot when you come to suck the bike up underneath you to gain extra height its a lot more difficult to because your legs right in the way if your going away from your lead foot you have room to tuck and its miles easier and feels a lot more natural, as for extra heigh and better techniqe its just down to practice and before evryone starts going on about nezza, hes just a mutant i'v never really seen anyone able to get over about 40" going the wrong way and thats where it starts getting harder to gain hight, iv managed to get miles higher cince i started doing them propper about a year ago -
all crank and sprocket/freewheel thread sizes are exactly the same so yes they will all fit together
-
oh my god hha i remember seeing this like 2 years ago, this is exactly how i f**ked my wrist
-
this is the most amazing topic ever hha, i think you should ring brembo and tell them your idea
-
im guessing its an ENO cince you say youv taken it all to bits?? new pawls and springs could fix it other than that i cant really think why its skipping, it could be a collapsed bearing thats causing the pawls to skip out of the ratchet, just take it all to peices clean it up nice check evrythings running fine lube it up with some thin oil, if that fails looks like its a new freewheel :\

who cares damons cool, gilles wears tights ffs
-
robbed swindles tune hha, getting pretty sick though now big boy keep it up
-
the yellows are long gone hha and i wasnt gunna get heatsinks anyway theyr pretty much the same compund, i was either gunna get some bealays or phats but im worried my grinds just gunna powder them and its gunna be a waste of money again, im not really pressing the grinder on hard and its at about a 45 degree angle iv followed all the steps on the tarty blog thing and NOTHING seems to be working, now i remember why iv hated grinds for all these years :|
-
hha thats the best advice in this topic to be honest, its all about how you come across to them, if your looking scared and deliberatley avoiding them your probably gunna get started on, you need to be confidenet but not too cocky, if you do get someone kicking off just act like a nutcase and get really mad hha chances are theyl back down before you, if not then just leggit
-
probably not its an echo urban, its really weird cos my front vee is amzing on a grind and the pads barely wear down
-
iv used tnn yellows, lasted about a week, rock blues lasted about 3 and i have koxx browns on at the moment wich are wearing down rapidly and will probably be gone in the next 3 rides all in cnc backs aswell, i wasnt expexting the yellows to last a lifetime iv been using a fairly harsh sharp grind on the blues and the browns and it just makes a sort of swooshing sound like its just powdering the pads and not biting them, a mate of mine who uses grinds has done my rim for me a few times and even he cant get it right and his brakes amazing :\
-
right after using smooth for about 2 years i made the mistake of grinding my rim, evry time i ride someones bike with a grind the brake feels really snappy and bitey so i gave into the temptation to grind it, iv gone through 3 sets of pads in about 8 weeks and dont even ride that often anymore and the brake has never been as good as my tnns on smooth, just wtf is going on help please ?
-
decent riding there lads, camera quality is mint too
-
my forks are fairly shagged anyway so im not too botherd hha, i want to learn the right tecnique on these batterd ones then i wont kill my shiny new trialtechs or whatver, but cheers for the advice anyway that website helps alot ill give them another blast tonite
-
right so im starting to learn hooks its probably the only thing i cant do on my bike and i really wnt to learn it, so i was just wondering if anyonesgot some advice to help me with the techniqe of them, im going pretty fast with my wight as far forward as is comfortable and no front brake what seems to happen though is when i hit the wall i just get flung off (upwards), anyone got any tips for getting the bike up there with me would be much appriciated hha. cheers wigzz xoxxo

i ran one for ages man solong as the other ones ok you can even put a bolt under it just to stop it moving then jubilee clip it to keep it secure, works really well actually its just tricky to set up at first
-
how long is the bolt??, if its a short one then it'l have just taken the top few threads out just use a longer bolt, if not then either coil it, jubelee clip or put a nut under the clamp
