  2. alright mate, may have found some brakes which will allow me to drop the price t0 65 if your interested but I need to know so I can get em as there exactly what i want!

    thanks

  3. I would point out that the plazmatic pads are brand new, about 15 min of riding on them,I think given they have new tpa's in both, a fresh bleed of monty oil which gives a nice light feel and the pads its a good price. If you could let me know asap as I have someone holding a disc for me and need to let him know!!!!

cheers pal, please text me on 07792016532 to get me on...

  4. yes mate, will go straight on then!

    interested?

  5. Will have to replace my rear brake and aquire a front brake hence price, will come with one set of plazmatic pads and 2 sets of blacks, two sets of evo mounts (the rear set up, booster and the clamps, as you'd get buying new from a store.

let me know asap as seen brakes I can buy on here.

    cheers

  6. erm, wasn't planning on it,have you got 4bolt mounts or standard ones like a mountainbike???

If mountain bike you will be able to fit straight away, if 4 bolt you will need to get the mounts, which you would need to do if you bought new also.

How much would you want to pay?

Only wanted to sell the front one really, couldn't sell for less than £75 posted. Text me on 077920...

  7. I shouldn't think so mate, for starters conncetions will all be different and the levers will move the wrong amount of fluid , i've never seen anyone interchange between hydraulic disc and rim brake levers mate! get a bb7 disc on the front with a normal lever, there properly good and way cheaper than a new hydro disc! Get second hand to, no seals to perish or anything like that so it wont turn up leaking everywhere or with contaminated pads from an old leak as there isn't any fluids involved, trying to get one myself at the moment, but need to sell my front set up. To save money on the rear brake try and get a lever body off here and some hose, just use the caliper you've got and the lever blade and tpa and fit to the new body,! hope that helps
  8. Hi I'm laid up at the moment after surgery, trying to fill the time by sorting out my levelboss, decals came off ages ago as they were scratched to buggery, anyone know where to get some more for the down tube, top tube, after big and prominent! thanks kevin

    Maggy Problems

Is the brake definitely moving??? when was it last bled? i had that problem thought my new wheel wasn't tight enough, brakes were buggered on mounts,, turned out pads were't returning properly and consistently, try bleeding it mate!

  13. Hi any advice on the best way to spray my forks which are scratched to buggery and my rear gold anodised tryall rim which I bought because it was cheap but totally the wrong colour.......... wanna spray both black, can i just spray or will it need prepping a lot? thanks kevin
  14. wonders if the keeness will last

  15. Ok mate, thanks for your opinion, part of the length was to give a little more reach, feels a touch short, to be honest I bought the frame second hand because it was cheap and looked a better geo than the martin hawyes rep i had so could probably just do with a longer frame! I'll look into gettin some bars. I used to ride downhill bars on my pashley years ago but never got especially good so wanted to get a more pure set up this time round, i'll give it a go! I just want to up the front end a lot as the bike feels very flat, want to replicate the look of the koxx sky bikes! Cheers
  16. Thanks Not sure how well I'm gonna get on with getting back on a bike, used to love it then just stopped enjoying it, need to get a proper hobby back though, I work to much!
  17. Hi Thought I would introduce myself. I'm kevin, 28, recently started riding again after dropping it for 7 years or so. Enjoyed street riding mostly, was kind of ok but never had in me to go massive! Had a pashley 26mhz with u.s.e tfi''s which was one of THE framesets to have back then! Anyway, trying to get back on now. Have picked up a fairly good spec bike secondhand from different places, Koxx LB 1065, dmr/tryall rear wheel, sun front disc wheel, hs33's, echo barand stem. BUT.....with current bar and stem it feels a bit flat, think what I have is probably 5 deg and 100mm, I was thinking 25 deg+ and 120mm +. I'm 5'10.........any opinions? direction would be appreciated! Have registered here to be able to find out how things work now and what the vibe is! Thanks Kevin
