    Confidence.

I couldn't sidehop at all at on point, i then was off the bike a while as i hurt myself and would imagine pulling the move, from the leap to releasing the brake etc and within a couple goes when back on could do it, it does genuinely work! think about every part of what you have to do and imagine doing it, sounds very american but its a proven fact, mental rehersal works!
  3. yeah, its an 18t, thanks. Just wanted a bit of reassurance before I screw it up in a vice, would take a while to replace if I bust it at the moment!
  4. I'm presuming the revolver is 1.37"x24 thread, is that the case do you know?
  5. ? got a tr sprocket and presumed its all the same????no real way of lmeasuring though?!?
  6. Thanks.to confirm,128 is the axle length and not the shell?
  7. Gutted, gone to put my cranks on (Tensile optimums with uci style guard and 96 click FW) and the BB I had which I thought was ISIS is evidently some dodgy specialised strongarm splined offering specific to those cranks. I now need a BB but dont know what length I will need or how to work it out ? Its to go on an old koxx levelboss frame, if anyone could advise i'd be grateful. Also took my acs claw off my rear hub, DMR revolver (flip flop style ) and tried screwing my echo tr sprocket on and it gets about half a turn before geting to tight toturn with my hand, the fw spun on aqnd off is easy, is the sprocket the wrong size? --- can with way to much brute force get it on about 3 threads deep now need to whack in a vice and use the wheel but worried i'm gonna bust something, anyone else had this problem? Thanks for your help in advance. kevin
  8. Hi That all sounds good, I used this to build my first wheel, laced the second side up a bit wrong though so if your not sure check out the description in the thread as you cant get it wrong with that. watch this guy! Hope you dont think I'm hijacking this thread, hoped that seeing as well as reading will help people!
  9. definitely a good idea mate. I've two kids, 2 and 4 and have been working two jobs the last few years as I thought i had the time and the money was to good to turn down (Fireman and Roofer) but realised in the last 9 months actually i really dont, i work between 70 and 90 hours a week..........oops So i thought about needing to get a hobby back to make time for myself, I saw a giant martin hawyes with mag's a other decent bits and the guy only wanted £60......trials it is then! I used to ride but got bored about 7 years ago, never actually applied myself, was alright at street but pelt at proper trials moves, Point is get out in a group and it will always be fun. second point is make sure you keep some you time, i love my rugrats to death but its important not to stop being a grown up doing your own grown up things for yourself! Good luck and enjoy mate! If you need to buy anything defo use the FS section on here, i've just re-specced my bike apart from wheels mentally cheap for the quality of gear!

    Deng?

I'm fairly new on here and have seen the word deng used several times referring to parts and frames but nvere heard of that brand, is deng some kind of taiwanese name or something and such stuff is cheap mass production gear? sorry for my ignorance :$
  11. Looks good mate, very good, post a vid riding it?? top effort
  12. Woah! I have bought this freewheel to upgrade for performance from an acs claw and the noise is a BONUS,not a choice.i am not some sort of nova driving monkey with a stereo costing as much as the council flat they live in with there parents.when ii service it next i'll probably put a little more grease in which will tone it down, only a bit though
  13. I see your point, a mate used to run a king and somehow had silent brakes and there is something to be said for it seeming smoother without all taht racket!
  14. I have no idea.......... only one non believer so far.......and I bet they wear lycra when they ride in the town
  15. What, you've glued it together.........scared Looks very professional though mate, would confuse the hell outta non trials riders, push it dude, make buggers and earn yourself some £'s, you seem to have done that in a week! gotta be plenty of people willing to pay £500 for a frame you could build to there specification?!
  16. hmmmm, i thought it was done right but I was actually taking the piss anyway........ I LIKE LOUD FREEWHEELS AND I'M PROUD OF IT!
  17. hey mate, would appreciate feedback for my profile, thanks

  18. I just got a tensile 96 second hand and the guy (props to peggysue ) serviced it before selling it and its loud as fook! Which leads me to the question, is it ok to get moist about the simple clicking of metal on metal?? Votes up top.......all answers will be treated with the utmost privacy!
  19. That looks the shit! Kind of looks like it needs a bit of bracing round the bb, seat tube, chainstay area, sure it will be strong enough but just looks like its a bit thin. Top effort though mate, how much do you think its costing including your labour if you had to pay for it? keep up the good work!
  20. steaming pack ! name chosen off the list purely for comedy games NFS shift COD MW2 Tiger woods 08 kane and lynch dead men BIA's hells highway
  21. I had that, drilled and annialated one surround but then took the other lever blade off, stuck the pin in a vice down to the blade and yanked the lever up and pulled the thread back past where it had stripped, or else you could just try pulling it right through? if you bust a pin i've got one i can send you though
