  1. i dont think id go that far and odveously as it hasnt been sugested chris king dont make a spacer kit to make the hub that much smaller cheers for the help guys think ill just have to buy the vertical dropout one and if any one knows anyone selling a pitbull pm me im after 05-09 frames
  2. if you where to use water in a disc would the water not boil? expand and basicly ruin the brake? i burnt my hand on the disk the other day it was bloody hot and surely this is easily transfered from pad to caliper to fluid? odveously hs33's have a rubber compound pad and the backing before it gets to the fluid so the heat transfer is minimal?
  3. i really like the geo on this frame, havnt quite got the money at the moment for a new chris king sadly, so is it worth just going for the vertical drop out one and saving myself a few bob?
  4. right i have a this hub chris king classic 135mm im interested in this frame zoo pitbull horizontal dropouts is there any way of making it fit within the dropouts or am i looking at a new hub/different frame? if so is there any hubs that are recomended profile hope or ck?
  5. yeh the rb levers were discontinued shame that i really like them, and it took me almost five minutes to read your post get validated quicker with correct grammer and spelling.
  6. now that doesnt look to bad,not a bad price either, shame they put vertical drop outs on the street frame, not to keen on the 35mm rise on the trials frame
  7. right tools for the job, think b and q and maybe homebase sell them or buy some cheep long nose pliers and grind the ends of them to a point so they fit in the holes.
  8. looking forward to the new vid chris missed a few things on the monday, will be good to see how the video comes together
  9. ive owned hubs from shimano lx to ddg to hope bulbs and now i have a king,i must admit it has skipped a little but only once or twice since i got it 4 or so years ago,id say they were worth the extra money(got mine threw insurance after bike got stolen) but then again you cant go wrong with hope there a great make and ive used a few of there products. i cant say id ever complain so i reckon its a coin toss if you have the money spare splash out for a king if not go for a hope
  10. nice riding bad choice of music though really didnt go with the riding and shoot the camera man or get a tripod was a bit on the shaky side good video though
  11. 99-2001 i think, thats so old school its probably due a reunion lol that is some major retro!
  12. nice bit of editing there great riding too had to mute the music though i was borderlining on suicide then
  13. i actually ment the effect im assuming they all have the same release date and does any one know weather they managed to keep them within the prices shown on the ashton-bikes website
  14. in my old yaris i took the back seats out and built in a sloped bita wood carpeted it all looked neat and tidy put two 12" mutant subs in and two mutant 6x9's,then got all familied up and had to take it out ill upload pictures when i can find my old hard drive now in my merc i have two 12" jbl's running off two amps(which my little daughter loves dancing too) trying to convince my mrs it needs a dvd head unit but she isnt having any of that at the moment
  15. does anyone know when the ashton resolve is availible to buy? if it already is where do i get one from?
  16. save some money and buy some decent ones.although it costs more itll save you repeatedly buying half decent pairs all the time
  17. lmao off so true how ever it is to keep the prices down the price wouldnt be so inviting with an extra 120 wacked on it
  18. as much as someone is going to pay for it!! id say about £45 though
  19. love it! poor postman lol bet he didnt have a clue what was going on
  20. i cringed when i saw them bolts definatly need to be cut down! i really should read posts first i see the bike and almost put your reck you chain with no bash plate/guard nice pics though doesnt look to shabby at all, liking the blue front hose too
  21. is that the actual camera or editeing software? and have you tried putting the clips together in windows movie maker and then uploading it to youtube thats the video editing software im stuck with at the moment,it uploads fine to you tube and trials tube
  22. in my opinion its got a lot to do with footage if you take the video clip from a crappy angle ithe video isnt going to look as good as it can, dont over edit by sticking "power poiny" looking transitions in the video i think it looks rubbish and cheap. youve also got to pick your music carefully theres no point having heavy thrash metal for a smooth rider floating around,i profer using adobe premiere as its such a lovely bit of software to use but i havnt got it any more so im struggling on with movie maker which isnt that bad. just try make the video flow with nice transitions music that suits the riding style and decent title and credits
  23. id recomend either puting a thin layer of liquid metal on it and re taping it failing that dont tarty bikes re tap bb for you?
  24. this is definatly a non trials post with relavence this is sooo funny ha ha ha that wouldnt be a bad idea shame it cant be "televised" on trials tube
  25. got a nice bita control on the back wheel there enjoyed that video love the song havnt heard it for years though which made it all the much better
