  1. Okay guys, I've been milling over this a bit recently and I'm pretty stumped as to what my bike REALLY is I bought it from cleanbikes, labelled as a 221pr and was happy to leave it at that, but recently I've been looking at it and can't help but think it's actually a rebadged 219 or something the main thing I notice is that the seat tube is vertical on my frame, and on all the 221pr/ 221ti bikes I see, it angles back toward the back wheel this is the only half decent photo I have at the moment: and here's a 221pr from google: I've tried googling for older models of the 221pr with limited success, so now I'm wondering if anybody else can shed some light on this? My thinking is that if this is actually a 219, that's a kids bike right? and that might explain why it feels a bit odd at times Also, I've had this frame about 4 years now
  2. Just got in from a major COD fest since it was too miserable to ride today. Man I'm tired and I can't be arsed to hook my TV back up
  3. I turned it off after a minute, Can you say over-produced? The riding I saw before all the flashing and cutting made me hurl was good though
  4. theoretically It would work, although you'd need a really clever machine that can see and learn how the skin is reacting to the tattooing, and adjust itself to cope with it it would also have to have an infallible series of datum points that it can zero onto if the client were to move their arm in the slightest It could work, but it would have to be a clever clever machine >.< /engineering geekness
  5. everybody beat me to the punch of "mine" my 221pr is the don, although i've not ridden much else
  6. tricks and stunts martyn ashton and martin hawyes keepin it old school, I love that video although it's more of a tutorial I guess Get some movies, I recommend inglorious basterds, that film is amazing
  7. Dude, We aren't trying to be mean or talk down to you here. If you wanna be validated you gotta play by the rules, and make a valid contribution, you have to come across as somebody who will be worthwhile to have in the other sections of the forum I only joined a week ago and I got validated quick enough because I posted just one or two threads with good spelling, grammer and punctuation, Which presented valid points and/ or questions Seriously man, if you can't even get the points that are being made to you in this thread I can't see you being validated anytime soon (if ever) $0.02
  8. I read the title and thought you meant you'd swapped some crack for a GU Is it good crack? The downtube isn't a good area for a crack. can you get pics? a picture of the exact area/ size/ spread would really be helpful
  9. Mine are anodised, if they slip worse on smooth bars I'm glad I don't have any I woke up late today so didn't get time for a ride before work will get some hairspray tomorrow instead Maybe I can make myself look utterly FABULOUS while i'm at it? /gheyness

  12. You will be able to buy them from wherever makes pallets, but I dunno how cheap they are the blue ones are known as euro pallets (Or they are at my work anyway) Definitely the strongest kind I keep trying to get some from work, they won't even let me have the broken ones! So they must be a fair few quid to buy
  13. dammit. I'm skint for a while anyway so it's probably all yours if dan needs the money I'm still torn between goin 24 or getting a longer mod, I might get myself a mod marino
  14. aye, but if you leave your tyres pumped up they can expand and explode because the hold isn't pressurised like the cabin is If you pack your bike up good, They'd have to do some serious chucking to damage it And if they do damage it, you can probably claim as long as you show that you packed it well and prevented damage as much as you could
  15. Man, that's sexy! you got rid of your old 24" frame yet? I might have it off you Will bring the monty up to leeds sometime soon

  19. Yeah man I did notice that actually! I also waterbled mine for the first time with this rebuild so I thought maybe the difference in feeling was something to do with that But yeah, I definitely feel it, feels like it drags on my rim a little after I release the lever +1 Vote, I have faith in you, son Aye, done that, gave it a good oiling too Still loads of life left in it although I am tempted to get a grind chain soon instead because it's got a few knocks on it
