I got bored of the fakies and 180's by half way through (not a dig, but it is very repetitive), but a lot of Sean Watson influence there- keep going with it
-
That's actually not bad at all, I thought by the sound of it it would be virtually impossible to gain enough points for any kind of reward! Obviously it's not about the reward, more about being fit but it's a good idea.

How many points are you getting on a fairly active day, cycling to and from work etc? Just out of interest!

On the topic of cordless drills, just seen this.. Looks like a great deal for anyone looking for a cordless. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2463676.htm?cmpid=COJUN&catalogId=10001&cjsurferid=400700676774283598&_%24ja=tsid%3A11674%7Cprd%3A7361703&storeId=10151&referredURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.argos.co.uk%2Fstatic%2FProduct%2FpartNumber%2F2463676.htm&referrer=COJUN

I was told putting an elastic band between the screwdriver tip and the screw can give it some purchase on the surface and might work? I am skeptical, but worth a try if you're really stuck!

Tf Computer Nerds (Gamers, Overclockers, Server-Ists Etc)
TrialsIsHard replied to Muel's topic in Chit Chat
In my experience touchscreen laptops (unless foldable) are a pain and require constant cleaning to avoid greasy marks. Possibly even add more to the cost of the laptop than benefit from it, but that's obviously objective. I would absolutely consider looking at warrantee length when buying a low budget laptop, as generally they are short and can save you money/frustration with having a longer one. -
What road is it you're referring to? If it's the self-diagnosis route, I don't plan to do that at all- the doctor did that.. I'm simply interested in how it varies throughout the day/week/month
-
Any feedback of the Jawbone UP24 in use? I've been really interested in my heartbeat since I had some pain intermittently over the last few months, so thinking of getting one.

It may be all a facade to you, but it makes people genuinely happy for whatever reason, be it due to selfish gift receiving, family get togethers or just for the food. Just because you don't like the idea or the principle, can't you just be happy that everyone else is? Merry Christmas TF, and a festive +1 on Jardo's mum x

Dannnn7653936, I know you posted that purely because 60% of the cars were clios Some good saves in there, I thought a few of them were just corrections being made due to a slippery track though, like the evo I couldn't even tell what he did wrong in one clip!

:'( In other non-pug slating related news, I don't really want anything for christmas/birthday (26th ).. So I decided what I'd like to do is have a fun track driving experience/ day out. Has anyone had any experience in these and can advise on what to/not to go for? I'm swaying towards a drifting day, as these are much more 'hands on' than a supercar experience where you're shouted at for using more than 50% throttle! But open to almost anything, except 4x4 driving (No fiats, sorry Jardo :wink2: ) Any advice would be appreciated as I'm completely clueless

Did time pass between the two pictures, and they are meant to show the difference? Can you put them side by side? That might help

We do not talk about the Daewoo Matiz.

The thin base felt like I was getting much less for my money than I actually was, the whole garlic filling was dirty though-not the same as the crust sauce at all! I always buy 3/4 dips,to use on regular frozen pizzas when I'm poor (which is a lot of the time), didn't know they would give you them free!
-
Thanks for the reply, it really helps to have someone tell me that- although I knew I had to try it at least once to say I've had the experience. It just couldn't have come at a worse time for me as I was particularly looking forward to it tonight, so it's come as a pretty tough learning curve. I'll probably take you up on that pm, really need to vent my true feelings about the whole ordeal. I just don't feel comfortable doing it on a public site.

Got a dominos tonight, decided to go for the 'double decadence' base, this was the worst idea in the world. Although costing an extra £2.50 it is absolutely terrible, and like having sickly Philadelphia between two crepes. :'( I should have stuck to what I know, the cheese and bacon crust..

It appears that you're about to ride up beside the driver to hurl abuse at him, either that or about to turn right.. I'm sure they will pick up on this too, what happened after the video was finished?

One for Dann: Nothing like a fresh layer of shit!

Hermes once dropped a 42" LED tv out the back of the truck, and delivered it to my house anyway.. Before leaving extremely quickly whilst I told him to wait while I opened it as I suspected it was damaged. But they very kindly collected my parcel 8 DAYS LATER, and returned it free of charge. Swings and roundabouts eh?! Staying vaguely on topic: If a TV falls off a truck, and the customer doesn't see.. did the tv really fall of the truck?

Jardo that 306 gti exhaust isn't just wonky, it's angled at the car behind you's windscreen! I do really like it though :$ very good condition

Does she have any work sorted for when she comes back? Otherwise I can't see it being a problem, other than distance to friends and that.. This has potential to go badly depending on how she sees it, it's very responsible Jardo or reckless Jardo... You never said what's happened to the money in the savings, is it being given to her? It also seems kind of like it's not your sisters money being saved up but more of a gift from your grandparents. Even though the secret savings thing is really cool

Black Friday Deals - What's the gist behind it all?
TrialsIsHard replied to Rusevelt's topic in Chit Chat
Actually selling at £80, or RRP? A lot of black friday 'mega deals' are actually about 20% off usual prices advertised as 60% off RRP. -
The kind of thing makes me extremely angry too, working in Waitrose it was always the c**ts that drive Audi Q7's and fill the extremely limited number of disabled spaces because they are 'in a rush' or worse 'there's no disabled people around- it's just another parking space'. Putting notices on their windows, reading their number plate over the tannoy, politely asking them not to park there etc. doesn't get through to them. You can't win unless you're actively there to stop them from parking or start messing with their car. Which realistically is just a war you don't want to start, as they will retaliate. Especially driving a brand new Fiat

Why can my housemates only use a speaker at full volume?! Tried talking to them, but it's falling on deaf ears. (pardon the pun) My iPod dock, which only has a 5.25 inch subwoofer is constantly being abused in the room below me. I don't want to confiscate it as that makes me a dick and I like having it downstairs to use while I'm chilling. But when it's pumping out 110dB for 6 hours a day minimum, and shaking the first 2 floors of our house- it's starting to get old.

I assumed it was purely for alliteration purposes! Yeah it definitely has a feel good vibe- nothing gets the office going like Electric Six You should have a group playlist, so you can all add songs to a que during the day, that would be quite cool, like a jukebox kind of set up. Could be a tad distracting though...
