  1. Worth more ... yes but value is not the issue here
  2. ERM ... dang bro LMFAO i am not taking a angle grinder to my wheels fook that hahaha !!! To scared lol
  3. This is what i run on my front end with a Hayes Brake Lever H something .... ? ? HML just ran and checked lol
  4. By "grind your rims" you mean rough up the area the pad will travel round on the wheel its self ?? like i did with the pads , glass-paper so its not so smooth ??
  5. COOL , May i ask a q ?? You have used the "heatsink" what do you say the general stopping power is for that pad ?? Like is it good bad or solid ?? I'm thinking of getting a set but not sure if to change as these green frogs are doing good for me at the moment. But I'm only 5ft 2 and weigh just over 7 and a half stone so I'm pretty light on the bike. The DMR its self is very light so weight is next to nothing with me on the bike.
  6. I'd rather remove it myself not so painful then lol thanks for the heads up !!!! This is how YOU feel about these pads and to be honest i have never had a problem with the green frog pads And he might just find the kool red pads suit him better than any of them , its basically down to what suits him as a rider. Your opinions are not going to suit everyone , the same as these pads don't suit you. And to be frank its not your bike , its his and if he likes a certain type of pad that we all see as a crap pad , who are we to tell him different ??? Individual riders have certain ways they like there bike built , you may like a bike but you might not like its components
  7. Ha Ha it as you can see has worked thanks Revolver mate , sorry about the image bro !!!!
  8. Look im sorry bro but its not letting me remove it it says my bbcode is incorrect ???
  9. look mate its not my fault your ISP is pants i have no trouble at all viewing any page on any site , but as i don't want to annoy i will remove A.S.A.P
  10. OK i respect the no images in the sigs , but i don't understand ?? why can i not have my sig there ??? its a sig its what its for it represents me . But don't worry mate i will remove it if i have to , when I'm told to by a member of staff or admin. Not that I'm disobeying you or anything i just don't see what the problem is , the area is designated for a sig , i have placed a sig in the designated area ?? I dont understand why you have a sig area but are not aloud a sig there ??
  11. Just be sure the pads you get actually fit your Hs33's bro i went in to a bike shop and they sold me normal pads and if id of not know different id of walked out the shop. Here are a few , i went for the compound types , Green Frog - Performance pads for all hard anodized(black) and ceramic rims offering greater stopping power particularly in wet conditions. What i did was when i fitted them and used them for several days i took the blocks out and roughed them up a bit with glass-paper , they will perform perfectly well-every time - This tip was posted by a person who brought the same product and have made a review - i did follow his tip and they did preform allot better Magura HS33 Black Pack Of 4 Inserts http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Magura_H...rts/5360010129/ IXS BS33 HS11/33 Brake Pads http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=34214 Fibrax Pads Magura HS33-HS11 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=1896 Magura Pads HS33-HS11 - Choose from 4 compounds • Black - Standard pads suitable for all rims offering good performance and good wear in most conditions. • Grey - Standard pads designed to work better on anodised or ceramic coated rims offering good wear in most conditions. • Kool stop(Red) - Performance pads for all polished rims offering greater stopping power particularly in dry conditions. • Green Frog - Performance pads for all hard anodized(black) and ceramic rims offering greater stopping power particularly in wet conditions. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=895 Neon Brake Pads http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=1676
  12. Hello , My name is davie , I'm 29 years old , i live in Nottingham with my wife and 2 children. I have been in to my bikes for a long time , I've gone from BMX to Trials from Trials to Downhill. As of this moment i own a 2007 DMR . My wife just gave birth 5 days ago to our 2ND child , so I'm quite pleased at the moment. I had me a rough child hood , raised by myself (and the wolfs) but i got there in the end , it taught me allot. I'm a easy going guy i don't get pissed off or angry ask my wife 10 years and she is sick of arguing with her self . I believe every one deserves a 2ND chance but also believe they should not blow it. I have no religious background but i don't judge people who have and don't mind others beliefs. Just as a hobby i took up photoshop 4 years ago i have progressed quite a bit , feel free to ask for a siggy. Well thats me guys hope i can help in some way and i hope to learn from you guys . I have a hungry baby screaming blue murder !!!
