What threads are their to strip? :P Mine did it for a bit, just one of the bearings on the axle is a little dodgy. So i think if it is really bad, then replace the bearing.

Dont be daft and buy a Ronnie. Either get a EX721(D521), Onza/V!Z rim(V!z do slightly narrower rims) or i think there is a Sun rim that is pretty cool. All of those rims take grinds well. As for pads, there is a varied choice. For something that is going to work in all weather conditions; Green Koxx Bloxx, Heatsink Blues(bestis pads :P ), possibley Browns. Brake booster? If you are going to think about a new booster, then definately invest into the Heatsink booster. Very similar in looks to the Echo Control one, but stiffer, deeper and cheaper! Keep with a fresh Magura bleed, using mineral oil, to keep the braking performance consistant.

Well it just seemed a little weird to go into a deep sleep on the floor? Or did he go unconscience o summit?
-
Didnt Eddie die on the bathroom floor? It said something like that in Fridays paper The Daily Star.
-
Liked it. :ermm: Cool riding spots. And you said it was nowt special  Top notch
-
Ah cool  Good for trying though man, top notch! Would you be able to get the same stuff, but just put aluminium inserts into the legs, so they were stiffer?
-
Im sure your bars are 28''. Because they're the same as mine, and i dont think they produced 29'' version. Didnt a kid from Halifax produce some carbon firbre forks, with RockShock steerer and drop-outs? Wonder how those went
-
The Pazzaz bars have thicker Carbon Fibre, and thicker pieces of Aluminium inserts. If you look down the side of Pazzaz and Onza CF bars, then you can definately see the difference.
-
In Hull, its known as short bike syndrome(sp?). Only way to solve it is longer bar n stem; such as Zoo! ste-up, or a longer frame.
-
You wont be saying that when you notice the crack on the bend. I've seen 3 sets of 30'' bars crack, and heard alot more. The pazzaz uns are alot stronger and stiffer :)

RaceFace Deus gloves. Warm, practically windproof, tight fitting to hands. On CRC.

Hey, Im considering some new forks, and was looking at the V!z mod forks But i am unsure about the steerer tube. Is it 1 piece cromoly? or is it part cromoly, then alu further down, similar design to the Echo team/easy forks? Thanks for any light that can be shed on this :)

On the standard Profile hubs, their are cones, and you can tighted them with 2 adjustable spanners. The Mini Cassette hub, doesnt have any cones, and as said above, they tighten up when you tighten the wheel up, in the drop-outs. If, after its all done up in the drop-out, and there is still play, the you have knackered the bearings in the driver.

Gap size: 8ft, level-to-level On: '05 python, 20:14, 170mm cranks, zoo stem, pazzaz bars well forward. Just under 6ft, about 11stone11lbs.

Looking at site again....like that second T-shirt, Invert. Colours make it look cool. Bigger pics for the T-shirts?
-
I havent worn the green socks in a while. Get f**ked. working now, btw. Not saying the colour is crap, just dont like the little picture, or sloagan, seems wierd, like you get beaten-up o summit. Tou isnt a real word :P

AndrewT is right about most of the new range of companies Ts looking very similar. Dont really like the name. Definately dont like the designs. just not to my taste. The try to look fashionable but to punk/rocker people. ''Click for more details'' doesnt work for some. The new T-shirt compaines can't really compare with the likes of Animal, Oakley, Onfire, Koxx, etc. due to them not having the 'bam!' in your face impression. Effort has gone in, but not really that interesting. ^^^^^^^^that t-shirt looks horrid as well

I really wouldnt trust anything other than Profile. The Oddessy Hazard casstte hub tends to explode, pawls and springs go easy. Plus most of the bmx hubs arent really built with strong engagement systems, because they arent really needed, just a strong wheel-build and axle. Thats why Profile Racing come in. Designed for quick, solid and slip free engagement system, due to them being T H E top race hub. They cant afford to miss an engagement at the start of a race, otherwise they're going over the bars. You can purchase a full wheel build from TartyBikes for £200. See it as an investment, rather than a pricey wheel. At the end of the day, the Profile will out-last any freewheel, and stop you from dying.

Zoo! - Stronger than the silly 30'' uns. Slightly heavier. Still a nice shape. More rise? More up sweep. A little more back sweep, but went tilted forwards, still less than any flat bars. New funky colours. The thing is with the Onza Carbon Risers is that even though carbon fibre doesnt fatigue, then still somehow manage to crack ( cultivated matt, adam@tartybikes, damon). Either go for the Zoo! bars or go for the origanl and best; Pazzaz Carbon Fibre Risers 28''. More rise than the Onza uns, about the same as Zoo!.

Cool Video. Thought a little too much slow mo'. Ok music (Y) Inspired me to ride a lot (Y) (Y)

Nope, they say 6802 2RS, but on the actual bearing, it doesnt say the 2
-
680-2RS thats all. Dont know dimensions.... Pm'd you Steve (Y)

But the thing with Koxx/Viz/thisRim sidewalls is that they can be easily bent back, even though they dont dent that easy. If you compare it to a Ronnie, the material is too brittle, and when it does dent, and its bent back, it falls apart. I say it'll be an option for my next wheel :P

Well when i first started i set goals that i am doing with ease now, which seems silly. I never thought i'd be at the stage i am now though, tis crazy. I have progressed slightly over the past month, just getting things easier, more controlled, and ups to front-to-back on fences at the mo' :P. The thing is, you need to set yourself realistic goals, that can be acheived with a few months or so. This way, it shows more progression, rather than something too hard.

Or WD40. I have also found the same thing. My orginal Profile bearings lasted for about 6 months...then they gave up. After replacing them with some bearings(the cheaper ones though, not the Japenese uns) from www.smbbearings.co.uk, they lasted well, but not for 6 months, only about 4. I think since they were cheaper quality then went a little quicker, plus me axle was a little loose at one point, and the cones as well. Also WD40 ate up the lube inside them, causing too much friction, and K.O'd them. As for replacing the bearings, just buy some more, but just replace the cones(bearing covers). May solve the problem. Also use grease on the outside of them, and use light lube(not WD40). Hope it helps Olly :P
