  6. really cant afford £299, would love to, but thats pushing it a bit. also, is it possible to easily and tidily remove the giro from a bmx, just leaving normal stem and back brake cable, wont be needing front i dont think. thanks for all your help guys, been great. J
  7. i like that. does everyone think thats a good choice then?
  8. come on guys im bored as hell, i want a discussion. also, could someone asnwer the question, why do some people run 39/14 gear ratios and some 30/11 and some even.. 44/16!! are they for different styles of riding? becuase in all the vids i see they have smaller front rings. hmm. heres a pic, to keep y'all interested. peace
  9. hey, after having pretty much conquered my recently aquired bout of mind numbing boredom with some sick bmx videos, ive decided that hey im gonne buy me one.. adding together this fact and the fact that i cant think of what to get for christmas.. ive come up a cropper and am going to ask my dear old mum to purchase me a bmx push bicycle. ive found this, and to me it ticks all the boxes, looks good, nice colour, has everything i need in a first bmx and ultimately, pretty cheap. so what does everyone think..? and im more than happy to recieve other suggestions of bikes around that price range. thanks in advance chaps. Jimmy

  12. haha shit yeh!! rob warner pedals some serious gashage there! and trialsnation, started by a guy i used to be really friendly with actually, but then didnt speak to for years.. just shows u how fickle kids can be!! haha.
  13. maybe this might help.. online theory test aswell as that id say.. buy a highway code and read it. if by not work u mean technically the cd's wont work, buy some more because the hazard perception ones are hella usefull. seriously. good luck
  14. jesus its been a long time paul. course i remember you bud. not been riding long, bout a month probs, dont get as much time for it as id like because im at uni n that. u still ride?
  15. yeh man, i love old school, and it really is these days! seems like things have changed over night and its so difficult to be individual in trials these days, its who can go 3/8ths of and inch higher etc.. was a plant from the kurb. ta for the comments.
  16. not at all mate. i know it sounds arrogant but stuff like that has never bothered me really! i tend to worry bout things more relevant to me as a person, and i know u could say that 'the environment' is one of those, but i mean things like uni and my family etc. i dont think trials could really be considered a paticularily big culprit of world-wide environmental damage.. the opposite infact, we dont have engines!!
  17. are you planning on getting a sub anytime soon? if so id avoid getting the amp/6x9 combo becuase subs and 6x9's when they are on the parcel shelf really contradict each other in terms of air pressure and distortion of the cones making the mids and trebles commin from 6x9's sound really bad. that amp wont be good enough to power a sub either its spec is 97 W x 2 (4 ohms) 145 W x 2 (2 ohms) which aint amazing. if i were you, and this is just a suggestion. id go for some half decent componant speaker upgrades for your front doors, and get rid of your standard rear speakers and the 6x9's, something like.. these (just an example) and they will sound much better becuase the mids and trebs will be directed to the front of the car and bass will remain in boot. plus you dont necessarily need to seperately amp up these speakers, but u have the option to. they will still sound good without. hope this helps buddy. Jimmy
