    26"forks

hi there. snapped my rockman spades lastnite hs33models,i had trialtechs before that with cracked round brake mount.so my question is has anybody got any opinions or reviews on any other 4bolt forks please.i only had trialtechs 4months and the rockmans about 3months so ideally i want a set of forks that are goin to last abit longer. if anybody wants to see what a snapped set of forks look like at bottom of steerer il gladly post a picture of my face as its now printed there .the result of the forks snapping i now hav a swollen jaw, blackeye and swollen cheekbone and cuts. your input would be greately appreciated thanks.
  2. looking good brian. you free tues afternoon for a ride? [/quot cheers man, Yeah sure am

  4. gimme a msg when you wana ride im available most days.
  5. ive been running the 2011maguras about a month now, didnt like them to start with but after riding them for a few hours i preffered them over 2010. i found they have some slight give when you pull them making modulating the brake easier as my 2010 were so solid when pulled it was either on or off. Also after doing a comp on them couple weeks ago it wasnt till afterwards i realised i got no arm pump at all which was nice as old ones gave me loads even with water bleed. i would really recommend the 2011mags lovely feeling a look that grows on you, lever blade feels nicer on a 4finger.but i never had echo brakes so cant compare the two against each other as i always found magura absolutely fine and never had any problems at all.
  6. i ran set of koxx stock forks and found them mega flexy with a disc they were 26" though but should imagine they would be the same for 20".Ran trialtech after that and could dramatically notice the difference in stiffnes so much better. so as alex dark said trialtech or urbans on budget. dont know if my inputs any good to you.
  7. i got the tryall hole rims front and rear which are exactly the same as rockmans i believe. had the rims bout 2months and think ive had 2pinch flats on rear runing 15psi with try-all tyres and standard tubes. there nice and lite rims, look nice and hold a grind very well and find because of the quality of the rim material brakes work really well.im running the non heatsink coustellier pads and there mental and on the front rockman blues and find they work brilliant aswell.

  14. ive used the wipperman chain before and had no problems with it there a stupidly strong chain.just keep it well lubed up as there prone to stiff links and itl be fine.other than them being very heavy there spot on.

  17. yeh white helmet n grey hoodie.why?
  18. barrow comp was a really good day.shame i smacked my knee on my stem on the end of lap 2 which resulted in me not being able to put and weight on it which obviosly let to four 5s on last lap ,bit gutted as had only a few fives up til then .but there we go these things happen.it was so cold and mega slippery in places which cought you out before you realised what had happened
  19. had them from a fresh lite grind(i dont do heavy grinds)and they still worked well on a dead grind for me.
  20. browns. thats just my opinion though others may disagree.
  21. yeh mine worked well on lite grinds and on a dead grind to.

  24. i run the stock try alls at min think they are realy good, like the grip and rear has good puncture protection but is heavy .they are fairly worn down and was looking at the lites but bit concerned about the amount of pinch protection they offer?Any one got an opinion. i run my tyres fairly flat so dont wanna be fixing pinchs all the time.
